Again, no problem with criticizing someone's skills. But belittling a man and his achievements and saying he shouldn't be praised is low.

Even for Mayweather's ridiculously low standards.
How is belittling or critiszing someone's achievements "low"?

    It's his opinion.

    Ali belittled everyone's achievements.

He was a decent boxer who abused his status and influence to manipulate his people. When you think about it, he's done more harm than good to black people in America, i.e. encouraging the very aggressiveness, stubbornness, and close-mindedness that is impeding upward mobility in the black community. So far, the most blacks have contributed to society is joining the NBA or NFL or being a rapper.
Trust me, I know Ali's views on segregation and racial conflicts. Please don't try to educate me on Ali. A lot of what Ali said then is still true to this day. Trump is proving it. And please take you Fox News talking points elsewhere. Government policies, that they've admitted were created to target black people, is what's holding back upward mobility of my people.

This is a discussion I'd rather not have. You aren't changing my mind and I'm not changing yours so I'll just leave it at that.

Ok so uttering your negative opinion about someone can never be tasteless?

        And was that not tasteless?

Who has ever denied that Ali said tasteless and also ridiculously low things? Not anyone who really knows his story definitely.

Ali was a great fighter and an iconic figure for his time.

A lot of the media platitudes about him being the greatest spokesperson / human being ever are just ridiculous.

Ali is like Che Guvera, most people just see a T shirt and presume he was some kind of higher power.

He was pure entertainment and without him boxing as we know it today would not exist.

I'm glad he is now at peace, he was unwell for so long.

No not really. That's something I'd expect a woman a say when you say you don't like her outfit.

In Floyd's opinion, he doesn't rate his wins or performances as high as others. What is tastless about that?

Loads of fighters critisize Floyd's wins and achievements, they're not "classless" or "tastless" either. I find it absolutely laughable that a fighter critiszing another fighters fights or style or performances is being considered a lack of class Only with Muhammad Ali would that be the case.

I will give you an example of a lack of class, Margarito and Rios making fun of Roach's Parkinson's. That's classless.

A fighter cristisizing or not rating another fighters performances and achievements...yeah, far from classless.

And I would expect someone with a response like that to be mentally ******ed.

And that's not what he said. He was picking out things and ridiculing his performance. Saying "I don't rate him as highly as others" would have been just fine. But that's not what he did.

If that's what you read out of his comments, then fair play to you.

Criticizing a fighter in your era is just fine. Going into detail and try to take away glory from a former fighter is totally tasteless and petty. Especially a fighter like Ali who to Floyd's own admission did so much for him.

Why is that tasteless? They are just uttering their opinion of how they think it looks funny? Everyone are entitled to say what they want about another person right?

Ali was never afraid to lose or fight the most dangerous guys in the division for a single belt.

                    Floyd on the other hand...

You're asking me why making fun of someone's Parkinson's disease is classless and you're actually trying to compare that to a boxer critisizing another boxers in-ring performances

No more to be said here.

Muhammad Ali is just a boxer he is open to criticism I'm afraid.
