No more to be said here.

Muhammad Ali is just a boxer he is open to criticism I'm afraid.
    No, I was being sarcastic.

Again, I can't seem to make myself clear here. Floyd wasn't just criticizing his performances. He was ridiculing it and told us Ali absolutely didn't deserve to be glorified.

    Real class act

i don't think floyd understands how selfish it sounds when you react to the death of a great man, greater than floyd by a huge stretch, by talking about how it helped you. it's just a selfish, self serving thing to say, and way to say it.

that's the firs thing i thought when i saw it. you're fine to think that way. i thought, "wow, one of the greatest boxers of all time just died, and floyd still managed to make it about himself in 2 sentences.

I doubt Ali needs money for his funeral. RIP, champ.

Again, no problem with criticizing someone's skills. But belittling a man and his achievements and saying he shouldn't be praised is low.

Even for Mayweather's ridiculously low standards.
What made him a real cultural hero as opposed to Floyd who is apparently a fake cultural hero?

Dodging the draft? So would Floyd. Rest assured. Anyone with the money/fame or other means dodged it.

Black power movement? Floyd seems to hold the same views.

I don't get the big difference. I guess as the years go by things people find shameful become cool. Ages into a brand.

Once that generation that looked up to you ages, and it becomes official that you got away with being a trouble maker, you become legendary.

Floyd will get there. There will be old dudes singing his praise out of nostalgia for their own youth and young guys just blindly nodding in agreement.

I'm not trying to educate you. I was employing critical thinking rather than blindly putting Muhammad Ali on a pedestal and praising him as a cultural hero when in reality he was a moron who riled up black people against white people.

And please take you Fox News talking points elsewhere. Government policies, that they've admitted were created to target black people, is what's holding back upward mobility of my people.
                  Wrong!

******ity, aggressiveness, and toxic rap culture are the biggest impediments in the black community. Why have Asians, Hispanics, and other ********** made social-economic progress and not blacks? Please don't speak on an issue you are clearly uneducated in. Just stop. You're exposing your ignorance.

Most blacks high on the social-economic ladder are NFL or NBA players or rappers. Ali is overrated and glorified by boneheaded schmucks who don't know how to think critically and are part of the herd.

So did I, and many others. In Floyd's head, the whole world is centered about himself and you'll be hard pressed to find a more narcissistic character than him.

If you cannot say anything about Ali today, right this very day, without promoting yourself in the same sentence - keep your mouth shut.

I didn't even bother reading what you wrote. You aren't going to change my mind and I'm not going to change your mind. This is pointless. Please don't respond.
