As I said, Floyd has definitely said many tasteless and totally improper things about Ali in the past. But this isn't one of them.

But I can understand why people take his words with a sense of self promotion specifically due to the things he has said previously.

It is without doubt totally classless and tasteless to go into details about a fighters past and start talking bad about his accomplishments and the praise he gets.

It boils down to jealousy. Any fighter starting to ridicule previous fighters are tasteless.

It's fine if you don't think so, but there's a reason why he was heavily criticized all over the world for those comments.
