Barrera 2 - coming off loss to JMM
ODLH - weight drained, coming off loss to Mayweather and bad performance against Forbes
Hatton - Got stopped by Mayweather, looked terrible against Lazcano
Cotto - Got destroyed against Margarito, very close fight with Clottey
Clottey - Coming off loss to Cotto
Margarito - Coming from suspension after being destroyed by Mosley
Mosley - Coming off a loss to Mayweather and Draw to Mora
Even with all the careful career management Pacquiao benefited from he still managed to come up short several times. Yet clowns on here want to call him the greatest of this era.

add to the fact he beat more champions, hall of famers, and more title defenses, was more dominant

manny is your preference...just admit that

the number and fights dont lie...mayweather was simply better
Exactly What as MP's starting weight was & how many fight he had had by this point? The fight between them as old men means **** to me..

I'm using your logic here. You cited old FMJ beating old MP as definitive proof Floyd was the greatest yet up until this point MP had the far greater depth in competition & had achieved more (like Ring champion in most weight classes etc) So answer:

Do you rate Winky Wright over Mosley?

Do you rate Hearns over Duran.

Do you rate Calzaghe over Hopkins?

A 35 year old Kovalev & 37yr old Ward fighting each other wouldn't prove who was the best of this er. That is just dumb.

I am highlighting a point using your logic & you are ducking. By the way there is actually no such thing as the best of the era really it is purely subjective & personal opinion. I mean I don't know if I rate Mosley over Oscar yet he beat him.. (They were prime too!)

Can somebody tell me what Floyds best win is?

What weight did MP start out at?

How old were he & Floyd when they fought?

How many fights had MP had by this point & how many had Floyd had?

Who had fought the greater competition depth prior to this fight?

after he moved past 130, it was smoke and mirrors, fighters coming off of losses and bad showings but had big names....Arum is a genius, too bad he didnt expect anyone to notice and we did lol

i think he was the "best" fighter of the generation, yes. he'd beat manny at any weight, and it's a toss discussion between those two only to see who is "best" from this era.

but manny has a better resume, going from flyweight to WW [which has never been done,] and most of the floyd mayweather fans don't have the chops to argue that. they go through these strange mental gymnastics to downplay something that's literally never been done in 100+ years men have been boxing with gloves on.

call me what you want but you have to be an idiot to think manny was the best of this era...got knocked out by 2 no names, outboxed by past prime erik morales.....ktfo by marquez, a fighter he never beat clearly one time....and outboxed by mayweather

mayweather is the best, he won head to head, has more title defense, beat more champions and hall of famers

only fan boys would say Pacquaio when all the stats and facts say otherwise

get over it...manny was never the best, just second fiddle and thats ok

you are not gonna be considered the best when a guy goes undefeated with a better resume than you have
