Floyd Mayweather is the best of this era

Not really a fan of his personality or character but his fighting skills are amazing, I favor him of his era being the great, doping or not he's good.

Love him or hate him, agree to disagree

that ship has sailed and pac fans need to learn how to deal with it...Pacquaio was never the best p4p or best of this era.

Ok so Leonard wasn't the best of his era then considering he has losses to Terry Norris, Hagler & Duran?

This is obvious to any objective person that might take part in this discussion. Everytime boxing media/journalists are polled about their list of ATG's Floyd finishes ahead of Manny. The "fair and impartial" boxrec computer has Floyd ahead of Manny. ESPN poll had Floyd ahead of Manny. Ring has Floyd ahead of Manny.

Those that say Floyd isn't the best of this era are either people that hate Floyd or are aligned with or employed by an entity that competes with Floyd. They are not impartial and given everything they have posted/wrote/said about Floyd we can't expect them to be.

It's not really a big deal. We just saw something similar with Kobe. I guess this is how some people operate in the social media era.
