joshyua hasn't been popped yet. not saying he's clean, just that he hasn't gotten popped.

povetkin failed a drug test. he was also a very modest puncher, if you followed his early career. then he came back from a layoff and was knocking everybody out and far less giggly. when you consider that russia basically has state sponsored doping and coverup techiques for their athletes, and may literally be banned from international / olympic comp, i don't think it's unreasonable for somebody to suspect povetkin of not only being dirty, but guilty of a heck of a lot more than the PEDS for which he was popped.

not all big guys are big in their teens. it's actually usually the compact guys who mature quickly. think mike tyson, was a 195 lb 13 year old and he sparred with grown men.

long, lean bodies take a long time to mature and fill out, especially when the kids are making weight for their amateur career and running every dya. think lennox lewis. he was a "skinny" teen.


tyson is actually younger than lewis. here he is, built like a grown man, next to a skinny lennox whose body needed lots of time to mature.
