With Canelo & Jacobs not available, it's down to Saunders. If BJS says no thanks (he's been out of the ring for the same amount of time as Danny Jacobs), then it comes down between Lara & Eubank. I would love for Lara/Golovkin to happen at the Alamo Dome, where fans who rooted against Lara in his fights vs Alvarez & Angulo could come out and cheer his beheading.
I see another Geale/Monroe/Rubio/Wade-like result. There's plenty of haters who would have eat crow with Golovkin leaving Lara crumpled in the ring, and Alvarez would have to accept Golovkin made easy work with a guy he clearly had problems with.
Only if triple bytch and his team had the same confidence. The fact you think Lara is like any person pussie g has fought says it all. But then again your the same dumb fuuck who say Ronda would beat Floyd. You still need to be smacked for that shytComment

Exactly!! I don't understand why these writers the most basic common sense questions....Lara and his team are so full of **** it's comical. To all the Lara lovers, explain to me why in the 1.5/2 years that he's been calling out GGG on social media, he has made absolutely zero offers to GGGs team to begin negotiations, nor has he told his master Al Haymon to contact Tom Loeffler to gauge interest in the fight- yet he wants to fight him 'so desperately'.
Him and his team are attention whores since Lara is not highly regarded by the paying boxing public. Until he sends a serious offer (which he won't) his word is garbage.Comment

This fight won't happen because so few even like to watch Lara fight. With two other championship bought, Lara's last fight didn't break 500k on Showtime. GGG last four have averaged well over a million.
But it's not these numbers to blame so much as it is what Lara is asking for purse wise. It's been said repeatedly, Lara doesn't command millions of dollars to fight GGG, and k2 has zero reason to dole it out to him. GGG wins, the haters who call for this fight just say he was too small.
And I think both Lara and Jacobs are showtime fighters, doubtful they are coming to HBO.
On flip side, Lara hasn't looked great against out of top ten JRMW, like his last fight.
You can't duck guy in other divisions who only recently would even be able to come to HBO, if indeed it's possible. And fights have to be profitable, and with Lara asking for $3-$6 million, it's not a fight that will happen.
If Lara would take a reasonable purse for the small fan base he has, I'd be betting k2 would consider him. 450k with two other championship fights is not gonna command you $3-$6 million. Then GGG would need $5-8. Undercard, promotions, etc. it'd have to be ppv, and that's not happening.
Funny that you're making generalizations and stereotyping whiling claiming others are being racist.
They didn't say he was ducking him. And the difference is Floyd has publicaly said GGG would be easy work, but then made excuses. GGG hasn't said Lara's name.Comment

You should step in the ring to spend some of your aggression. Back in my day, 1910 to 1914 to be exact, I earned a few bucks splitting skin on whippersnappers like you. Mudda was thankful I made something of my anger. You should too. If you talked to me in that manner face to face, I'd give you a blinker.Comment

They called him out at 154, a division Floyd held multiple titles in, remember? Probably not, because you're a moron. How you're not banned yet is beyond me...Comment

Too bad for Lara & his trainer that GGG has 3 quality additions to his resume waiting for him if the Canelo fight isn't made. That's too bad for Lara. He could have improved his standing by fighting other jr MW's, or at least moved up & fought at 160...instead, went after a guy he already beat & 2 other journeymen north of 35-years-old. Andrade would have taken a fight with Lara...the Charlos...J-rock...callum smith. All would have been good tests for Lara, but he took easy fights to try to convince the masses that he deserves GGG. Lara needs to just get in line. GGG options goes as follows: BJS, Eubanks Jr, & Zurdo. Those are stronger additions to his resume over a smaller fighter like Lara. He needs to get in line. Just because you call a fighter out, that doesn't mean you're going to get the fight. He should have done more to ensure that he's the next best option.Comment

The issue with this fight is when Golovkin knocks out Lara in two rounds, Canelo(the money and fame/stardom fight for GGG) would be even harder to make. Oscar and the mexican fraud would agree to have backlash abuse of a lifetime rather than getting inside the ring with GGG.Comment
