Floyd's all time greatness pretty much ends at 140. He would have beaten a lot of good WW's and some great ones. I just don't think he would have stood a chance against SRL or Hearns. He would have had to be extremely defensive against Duran.

He still has yet to fight a good boxer in their prime that was longer than him. Corrales doesn't count either because he doesn't even use his reach and height. That's not a knock on Floyd it's just the truth.

I'd favor him over Whitaker, Chavez, Arguello, even Pryor. Things change when he's going against a guy like SRL who can match Floyd's speed and is 3 inches taller and has a longer reach.

Jr. wasnt as tenacious as his father but works well when he has a man who isnt as talented as he is. His father could fight, but ray leonards talent was just so much greater. Ray leonard is a god at 147. Ray tested himself against the best in their prime and multiple times. floyd never did.
