Why do ppl keep tossing Ortiz name out? He has a fight signed already just waiting on a date from HBO, going through the WBA eliminator to get it down to one belt than after that fight has to face oquendo than fury/klits2 winner not to mention can't unify interm/regular titles

Not a lot of options for Wilder. I think he should make an offer to Pulev and when he turns that down, publicize it on a site like this, and then pick the guy who they were going to fight anyways.

IF he goes for easy fights then all the fans he gained for the Povetkin goof-up he'll lose them too..
believe me, whoever they decide they want to fight will magically be in the top 15 when the June ratings come out......

Ortiz isnt ranked in the WBC top 15...I couldnt even find him in the WBC top 40...No way Wilder will be allowed to fight Ortiz.

I wouldn't doubt it though.. WBC's rules and ratings are quite shady..

But why not this winter? They're both Showtime stars. What would be the obstacle?
