After 4 fights and a brutal knockout to end the 4th did we really need a 5th? The public wasn't demanding a 5th fight, only people who had a hard time dealing with the outcome of the 4th fight were. When Canelo fights Golovkin once, let alone 4 times he can get a pass for not fighting him again. Its hardly the same situation as this GGG/Canelo circus, Canelo and Oscar talked all kinds of **** then they turned and ran after their list of excuses ran dry. Canelo looks like an ******* right now and his popularity that is so important to him and so many others will take a hit because of this, most people wont support that garbage from a fighter. Canelos a good fighter but he's made himself the joke of the sport, the only thing funnier is watching people try to defend it.

This belt-dropper is being babied. Why give him credit for accepting GGG's mandatory position when the challenger is typically smaller than him (by a few pounds) on fight night?

Canelo is a quality fighter but his major asset has been the advantage of size. Against GGG that's gone. Moreover GGG has arguably equal skills and power. i.e. truly competitive fight.

Truth is, jmm was an idiot for doing the very same thing with Mayweather.

Canelo's last 4 fights were lara, kirkland, Cotto and kahn, so ducking be damned, negotiations are simple "if" ur team canelo. We fight now, it's 155, if we fight at 160, u have to give me a year or so to get there. Very understandable and I could care less if ggg knocks the ***** out of him, I just want to see them fight.

Unlike ggg, canelo has ppvs under his belt, giving up the belt took away ggg's ONLY leverage. So yes, he will be calling the shots. ...and I think ggg is the better fighter...but it is what it is.
