Question? What other options do Canelo have? Lemieux? Tureno Johnson? This fights will struggle to sell 150K especially after this stupid move giving up his belt!

Also how do you sell his next PPV and expect people to buy it when the fight they wanted to see wasn't given to them?

Correction, GGG "Needed" Canelo but now because Canelo gave up his belt he actually elevated GGG stardom even more! Canelo and GBP hurt his image with that move clearly given the blacklash, they will be the ones that need GGG because the fans will continue to bring up GGG every Canelo Pressure and every time they see Oscar

Pac, cotto 2, May 2 all sell way more. Possibly even a Bradley fight would too. Not necessarily the fights we hardcore fans wanna see, but all still sell more none the less.

      Peace out ggg, good luck.

Yeah but you list 3 of the last biggest draws in boxing that is not saying much about Canelo Drawing Power when you have to fight Pacquiao or Cotto and Mayweather again just to do good PPV Numbers

As for Bradley it would be him fighting a smaller guy yet again, I don't think that would sell much and he is coming off off of losing to Pacquiao

Canelo and GBP put themselves in a very difficult situation. Selling his next PPV that is not against GGG is going to be hard sell and it will flop hard unless it is vs one of those fighters

But Canelo vs Lemieux is not selling!

Canelo does 350 - 400k minimum pretty much against anybody in between those fights. Multiply that by 69.95-79.95.

The situation is not difficult it just remains the same.

Now he's just a guy who could only say "yes" or "no" to an offer.
Yes because he blatantly ducked him

And if Canelo makes him an offer at catchweight for the highest purse ggg has ever made, what would that be classified as?

If triple G accepts it win, lose or draw he has to accept his decision.

If you chase the money there is no excuse.

Fact is that at this moment Canelo ducked him

Dropping your belts to avoid someone is shameful.

Here is a list of things for Canelo and his fans to consider:
                      • He is too big for 154lbs
                      • He weighs about 175-180 on the night of the fight
                      • He is calling guys up from 147 and 154 to fight him because he knows he will have a distinctive weight advantage over them
                      • He has dropped his belt to avoid his mandatory which would see him earning 10's of millions of dollars (cash isn't the issue here)
                      • He will offer a catchweight which will be the only way he will fight Golovkin even knowing he could easily make 160
                      • He has fought catchweight's for the past three years more than any other major boxing superstar in recent times

I'm sure I'm missing a thing or two but that list is all true and its embarrassing, you'd never see such a thing happen in Bellator or UFC Canelo and Golden Boy are successfully being allowed to make a joke of the sport I mean he hangs 1lbs over the 154lbs limit and he comes into EVERY single weigh-in now looking ill.

The question is what is he afraid of, wouldn't moving up to 160 be healthier for him and less taxing on the body?
