In don't think any of those performances were great.

Nunn was dominating before the KO, great result, but the performance wasn't.

Jirov was another good win and great fight but a back and forth war.

Evander Holyfield was shot to ****.

Taking in count Toney started at 160, it still impressive to put a beatdown on an old holy

In your opinion, not in mine.

Holyfield was shot to **** as his next fight with Larry Donald showed.

So really Golovkin isn't the monster HBO is hyping up.
            convincing imaginary fight result evidence

Win maybe school no. GGG is a technically sound fighter with an excellent jab. The left jab is the most effective weapon against the cross guard and shoulder roll, aka phillyshell, defense and GGG has one of the best. That jab would give Toney all sorts of problems.

Ask yourselves who would win, Montell Griffin or Curtis Stevens? Griffin would beat the crap outta him right? Yes , that's obvious. Now deduce GGG's level from that.......

That's why I put in my previous post, prime (focused) 168 Toney probably beat GGG.

But if Griffin beat Toney twice, why not GGG.

It's just IMO Toney had the tools, I mean: the style, speed, rolling shoulder and chin to get a decision facing GGG.

I dunno, maybe if GGG looks brilliant against guys like Nelo, Lara or Jack I would change my mind.
Toney was robbed in one of those Griffin fights (can't remember which one was worse) and should have won the other one too. The only reason most Toney fans don't make a big deal about it is because Tiberi was robbed against him. 175 should have been his best weight. He showed up ready and focused against Griffin in the rematch. I think after he got lost he gave up on boxing for a while. It's a shame.

In the fantasy match setting we have to pretend Toney was focused and wasn't weight drained. If that were the case then Toney would have beaten him.

Is there ever an instance where Toney was focused and wasn't weight drained?

Also, neither Griffin fights were robberies.

What do you qualify as a great performance then? Toney had started to land hard punches on Nunn for a few rounds before the KO. It wasn't just him being destroyed and a lucky punch.

Iran Barkley was a masterpiece in counter punching.

Knocked Prince Charles out ****** even if he was nearing the end.

In what world is the Jirov win not a great performance? Does a guy need to win by a landslide for you to be impressed?
