When GGG turns down all of that BS... Golden Boy and Canelo can claim "GGG is ducking us!"
You're right, Canelo has a plan... just not the plan you're thinking. My opinion.

That's... and interesting theory. It's possible, but I don't think it's true. It's wayyyyyy too risky.
Oscar has done a great job building him up to a star status. He could lose a significant amount of fandom if this backfires.

Canelo looks like a complete faggot doing this, not a villian. GGG isn't nearly as popular or beloved as ODH and doesn't have anywhere near the resume. Canelo looks afraid to fight GGG and has for some time, while Floyd had been calling ODH for years.
Canelo also already has an established base while Floyd was only known in boxing circles. Floyd doing that brought more fans while Canelo doing this is losing him support with his base.
I think you are not seeing things clearly.

Now we know why Schafer ran Golden Boy. If Oscar thinks it's a smart business move to drop a belt to avoid fighting a fighter everyone already thinks your're afraid of he's getting high again. GGG was in the way of that big Canelo-???? megafight? Haymon and TR just settled and I'm hearing they have plans for a couple of fights (Glowacki-Usyk?) and Oscar is telling Canelo to drop the belt smh.
