There isn't anything elaborate here, this isn't a complicated matter it's very simple - he doesn't want to fight Golovkin, end of story. All these people trying to come up with fan theories like this is Game of Thrones or some **** it's hilarious

What i was trying to say is those 5 years people were convinced floyd was scared to fight pacquiao. he played the villain role and Most people (casual fans) wanted to see Mayweather get knocked out. thats what really sold that fight. Now Canelo is putting up the same front as mayweather did making it look like he's avoiding this fight at all costs so people will tune in just like they did mayweathers fight and now the PPv will become 1.8 million buys instead of 850K- 1M buys. Im not saying they will be successful in doing this but this is the reason for this. Its all about the PPV numbers and they will do whatever it takes
Again, Mayweather developed that role against the biggest name in the sport on a TV show dedicated to their fight. That isn't the situation here, Canelo vacated the belt INSTEAD of signing to fight.
Floyd flossed, and cussed and insulted people. He had 50 Cent with him who was the Uber gangster of the day and a pop culture phenom. casual fans love the gangster image floyd was putting on. They don't love what Canelo just did.
I get you like Canelo and are thinking out of the box. But really dude, the situations are nothing alike. If you think otherwise, so be it.

Manny fans never thought he was afraid of Floyd and would beat him. Canelo fans suspected he was afraid of GGG and wasn't sure he could beat him. Well he proved he's afraid of him so that also answers the second question.

1. He has no big name victory.
2. He is not the best.
3. He has no personality.
Mayweather and Canelo are two totally different commodities. You can't look at what one did and think it will work for the other. Nor should you assume that's their new angle. What they did has no spin. They just didn't want to fight golovkin at the moment and possibly ever. There is no long game and it won't garner any further interest by pulling this move. This will actually hurt him in the short term because people are disgusted by his actions.

Haters will still contribute to the PPV i can guarantee you that. if you look at canelos page hes got people left and right calling him a coward and chicken etc. You dont think he knew that this was gonna happen? he knew this was a bad look and some people would turn against him. Now those people will tune in this fight when it happens evenmore so than before. Bottom line they are doing what they think will sell the fight. Its all greed all the moves are calculated
