dude, your 1st sentence makes no sense dude. Come on.

The difference is people just will not turn Canelo on. I remind you that Canelo got shut out the last time he was on the biggest stage. it's not like people everywhere are dying to see him. The Khan numbers told us that.

You are right, but canelo isn't getting the publicity, GGG is. Canelo is being portrayed as afraid. This isn't a Manny/Floyd situation either where Manny refuses an offer and people blame Floyd.

Canelo is getting all the blame as he rightly desrves.

I get it that you like ODH and Canelo but what he is doing doesn't appear to be helping his brand or his image.

Thought that too. Next May this will be a monster but both need to have big fights. More GGG than Canelo but he needs to make up for this vacate and GGG has to step it up.

I understand TS is thinking of all possible options. I just don't see a WWE style "heel turn" going on here. When you have an entire country behind you, you don't try to make people hate you.

That's like Vince McMahon turning Stone Cold into a bad guy at the height of his popularity lol. You gotta wait til business starts drying up.

Thats the reason why they are doing it. Step back and think a bit. What i was trying to say is those 5 years people were convinced floyd was scared to fight pacquiao. he played the villain role and Most people (casual fans) wanted to see Mayweather get knocked out. thats what really sold that fight. Now Canelo is putting up the same front as mayweather did making it look like he's avoiding this fight at all costs so people will tune in just like they did mayweathers fight and now the PPv will become 1.8 million buys instead of 850K- 1M buys. Im not saying they will be successful in doing this but this is the reason for this. Its all about the PPV numbers and they will do whatever it takes

I think Canelo actually did something positive. People complained about him being a 160lb title holder that didn't actually compete at the division's weight limit; now that issue is resolved.

If GBP makes an honest effort to negotiate the fight GGG at a fair weight (155-157?), then the backlash won't be as severe.

That right there shows me you live in a bubble. Floyd fans never thought he was afraid of Manny and would beat him. Manny fans never thought he was afraid of Floyd and would beat him. Canelo fans suspected he was afraid of GGG and wasn't sure he could beat him. Well he proved he's afraid of him so that also answers the second question.
