Hearn talking about he reached out to K2 yesterday for a Eubank fight in October. I'm sure he's full of ****.

BJS probably the best option, although he played this game before. He's made it clear he'll only fight him for big money, more than he's worth frankly so we'll see.
Huge difference with the Wade fight he was a small unknown fighter under Haymon stable that was given a mandatory shot at the title despite mysteriously not appearing on anybody else's top 10 rankings. Of course Haymon has no problem offering up a fighter like this for sacrifice. Jacobs however is one of his bigger names and can make big money fighting on Showtime. And if it goes to purse bid I don't see HBO winning it or allowing GGG who is under contract to fight elsewhere. Wade who is a flat out bum yet still Haymon forced GGG pay him 500k for a bum on his roster. For example Monroe who fought GGG last year made only 100k to fight GGG.

Based on what Wade got what you think Haymon will ask for Jacobs? If GGG was not willing to pay Saunders more then 1.5m why you think they will be willing to pay the more expensive Jacobs?

GGG is stuck fighting another bum or two like Wade for the rest of the year.

I'd like to see Saunders step into the void. He can earn himself a lot of kudos if he moves now.

Eubank Sr. claims that he'd like Hearn to make the fight with Golovkin and Jr. But we'll see.

Yeah, people got all excited when Wade signed to fight GGG on HBO and Loeffler said it only took a week for negotiations. I said the same thing, Wade is a nobody who's getting 500k, of course it took only a week. He will never in his life make that again in a fight guaranteed. He was a sacrificial lamb.
Jacobs made 1.5 for the Quillen fight so he is gonna want at least 2.5 for GGG. HBO is not gonna pay upwards of 5 million for that fight. Never gonna happen...

Yeah I know all that I just said we now know "it's possible", I didn't say it's likely. Before Wade/Khan fights happened on HBO, we assumed no Haymon fighter would fight on HBO, at least not in a "big" fight.

At the end of the day though if Jacobs tells Haymon he wants the Golovkin fight, the fight can happen. The real problem here is money and what Jacobs expects to make. Fight is good enough to get great ratings and sell excellent at the gate in New York but not big enough to be on PPV so the money required likely isn't there.

I could see how it happens. Hearn only has Eubank on a 2 fight contract, and knowing how the Eubanks are, they might be off elsewhere after 2 fights so no doubt Hearn will want to profit as much as possible. Given how the 1st fight of the contract is fighting a nobody, surely Hearn wants to make the next one a big one. BJS is with Warren and fights on BoxNation, that fight isn't happening under Hearn. So i think he could either try and get Eubank to fight GGG or Jacobs.

Unless Hearn wants Eubank to go upto 168 and fight one of his SMW fighters, he has a few that could make a very big domestic fight.

Canelita is ****ing 175 on fight night. He should fight at MW and stop with the CW bullshiet. GGG is doing the fight thing.
what is it you Gennady Garglers dont get....its both of their fault.

Canelo for being a diva and GGG being stubborn and waiting to be handed a belt. other fighters have conceded to the star to become a star. He gets no pass and is no different.

Hopkins was the man at 160 and did the same to fight DLH. Geale did it for Cotto. Mayweather did it for DLH, he picked the gloves, weight, and ring size.

I know GGG is your boy but when a fight doesnt go through and its this public both fighters are to blame.

deal with it man. GGG is no saint where he takes no blame for anything when this guy is friggin 160 a month before the fights. I could see if he was a big middleweight like Kelly Pavlik or Michael NUNN. He is smallish

I thought the WBA or whoever was going to order GGG-Jacobs if the Canelo fight didn't happen.

In every example you made you know that all fights were between guys who were in different divisions right?

And I'm pretty sure Floyd,Oscar, and Cotto didn't rehydrate to a bigger weight than (Oscar,Hopkins,Geale) did...

They knew all along they didn't want the fight right away, they should have dropped the title and been honest and said they want a few fights at 160 first and they'll revisit the fight next year... Dropping the belt and trying to suck down a guy you're bigger than on fight night is a *****move and makes Canelo look terrible in the public eye wether he made the right choice for himself or not.

imo it makes them both look bad.....Canelito for pulling a Bowe and GGG for being so ******...now we'll have sit back and watch him fight the bum of the month club when he could have been fighting his best opponent. He just pissed away his best payday and opponent. For what? Another belt? more mandatories and more mismatches. That sucks for fans and this dude is already in his mid 30s. Canelo will be ok with or without him. Im disappointed in both.

I understand where you are coming from but 2/3 belts being handed to you is weak and I wanted to see them earn the status as the true middleweight champion.
