There going to have to be a bit of bend from Golovkin's team, I'm guessing on the financial side. He's not getting 45%, not a chance.
I doubt he's asking for 45%, not that that's mandated. Only if it went to a purse bid, but nothing prevented GBP from offering 70/30.

And I doubt his leverage increases when he's no longer champ, while his opponent has 3 belts and Canelos manhood

Sounds like Canelo still wants the fight, but only on his terms. GGG would've been entitled to a higher percentage split with the title on the line than he's willing to concede.

Seems like a savvy business move, albeit ****ty from a fan's perspective.

Canelo's been groomed by the biggest money maker before ppv and the internet really took off in oscar. I don't like that he gave the belt up at all, but we know(most likely) what he's trying to do here.

Just gotta see if ggg plays ball or goes another route. I really do hope they don't submit and agree to 155 with or without any titles on the line

No GGG wasn't entitled to any split, only if it went purse bid. Nice try

Ummm...What do you think would've happened if they tried to lowball GGG on a split with the belt on the line?

If you bothered to take a second to wipe GGG's jizz off your face, you'd see that I wasn't "trying" anything. I blatantly called it a ****ty move.

Sanchez said they are only after the belt, not Canelo...

He was definitely entitled to a higher split as the interim champion, Herobando even pointed that out in one of his post some months ago if I remember correctly.

You just made a bad point, don't get worked up. If all they wanted is to low ball, its not like it's gonna work either way. They gain zero leverage by vacating, at least purse wis, .they lose some

Only if it goes purse bid which big fights never do.
