Whether it goes to purse bid or not GGG was entitled to a bigger than normal split, and I remember you posting this because I didn't even realise at the time that GGG was an interim champion with the WBC. You pointed that out in that post, can't be bothered going through your post history. Anyways I feel sorry for and hopefully Canelo still wants that fight like he claims but it means now GGG would have to be forced down to 155 or no fight.

No he wasn't, there's no prescribed split unless it goes purse bid. You think Guerrero got 30% cause he was Floyds mando?

Isn't that exactly why he'd vacate before it goes to a purse bid? You know team GGG wasn't going to budge because going to a purse bid benefits them. Stall for 15 days seems pretty easy. It would appear Canelo took that variable out of the equation and is making it all on his terms. Him dropping the title makes GGG have to decide to make the fight or not. Doesn't matter what excuse Team GGG makes if the fight doesn't go through...everyone would have said he's afraid for not meeting Canelo's demands. That'd be like Keith Thurman trying to make demands to Floyd.

This is all a d ick swinging contest and Canelo just whipped out a monster. GGG has to call it now because there's no more belt excuse.

          LMAO

As if Golovkin has the luxury to wait more years with age 34.
The older he is, the better for Canelo to end the hype job that is Bumlovin

Is that what you call pulling a Bowe?

I don't think there was any budging to be done by team GGG. They obviously didn't want a purse bid, as they said, since that kills the fight. Mannix said they never even met face to face with Loeffler, as if you needed more evidence they just dont want it. In any case Team Canelo is only worse off now purse wise.

How's he a hypejob if Cancelo needs him to get old to have a chance?

Nah not all the time. Boxing Scene goes into article whore mode with news like this & it sounded like there was weight issues in the last article they posted that I did read.

Weird ass situation if everything was going okay + they had 5 days left & Canelo dropped the belt. Doesn't make sense to me. But again titles mean less & less every year & I guess if they make this fight & Canelo does win they can call Canelo a x + 1 time champion instead of a x time champion moving forward if nothing else.

There is a difference between a mando and an interim. Only goes to a purse bid if they couldn't come to an agreement. You yourself mentioned this in your post some months ago, now you going back on your own post. Whatever suit you mate...... Done!

Some people seem to think that GGG or Mr. 97k ppv buys deserves a good portion of the money split. I personally think he's a diva and "businessman" and that's why he never gets a big fight(unless it's just his team). As soon as someone calls his(or his teams) bluff like Ward did it's 164lbs doe... and the same asshats that clown Canelo for wanting 155lbs against GGG thought 164lbs. was fair for a Ward fight.

The difference is in the split if it goes purse bid. However superstars never go purse bid, they get it negotiated first. If there's willingness of course, the main ingredient that's missing here
