Canelo can literally fight whoever he wants. His clout had one of Haymon's biggest named fighter crossing the picket line to fight Canelo. Despite the fact that his adviser is currently being sued by Golden Boy. If Canelo's star power can get a guy like Khan then he can get anyone. Just like Mayweather he can green light any fight he wants. Because Canelo can offer more money to fight him then anyone else can get fighting someone else unless Mayweather comes out retirement. Khan just got what 2-3X his career high to fight Canelo. GGG can fight all those guys you named and not make HALF as much as he would by fighting Canelo. Meanwhile canelo makes paydays almost 10X what GGG makes fighting anyone he chooses. His next fight with or without GGG will be on PPV.

That's all fine... I said Canelo could still get any fight,, but look around, the problem is that their is no one for him to have a major fight with but ggg except for a cotto rematch..

No one else has any type of name recognition to headline a major ppv.. None of the guys at 154 are known, and Canelo will be forced to drag up welters like khan, Bradley, manny, Maidana to have any type of a big fight..

yet you and the other GGG fanboys were defending a catchweight of 164 for Ward even after GGG agreed to fight other fighters at 168. Can't screen about more legit fight when GGG has already used catchweights demands. Canelo has never fought above 155 and is not going to do so just because the B side fighter wants him to. Especially when this same B side already begged both Manny and Floyd to fight him at 154. So one pound less at 155 should be no problem. If not keep fighting bums like Wade.

I see people saying Canelo needs fights at 160 first yet the same guys wanted GGG to fight Ward straight away at 168.

I see people saying Canelo is the A side and he can dictate terms yet the same guys said it was BS when GGG told Ward to bring his azz down to 164. GGG being a far bigger star than Ward to everyone except these clowns.

Shameful isn't it. There are still people that haven't seen the light of the facts behind how bad Canelo looks...These so called fans literally feel like GGG needs to step to 155 to prove he is great...WHY? 155 is an imaginary division created by a spoiled diva that does not need to weigh in at such a low weight in the very first place, other than to gain his hydration advantage of course. And now this whole dropping of the belt lets them say "Lets see if GGG really wants Canelo and not just his belt"...It blows my mind how these guys think 155 is an obligation.

These guys need to understand two things.
1) 155 isn't an obligation if you want to be great and beat Canelo, it was created by a diva for his own advantage and he got away with it because he has a powerful team.
2) GGG has made it common knowledge he wants the all the belts at 160. Canelo had one, and he has just dropped it.

Canelo clearly wants to remove the belt from the situation so either a) he looks less attractive of an opponent to Glolovkin or b) so he can claim to be ducked when GGG follows other paths towards the other belts like we all know he was trying to do anyway.
