Anyway if Peter is to fight Toney, I am going with a puncher.
You could be right about Rahman, I haven't seen many of his fights. However, I don't think that a draw was a gift to Toney since he was the one who landed more accurate and meaningful punches than Rahman. But, Toney definitely did not do enough to dethrone the "champ" so I think it was rightfully a draw.

Having said that I would still favor Toney over Peter for the sheer fact that Toney has unbelievable defensive(and offensive) ability. However, I don't think that either camp would want this dangerous fight.

      Sam Peter is ****ing badass.

I really hope all his confidence is still intact and he makes work of Long. Especially since he has a bright future in boxing.

I hope Peter wins via knockout, but I also hope that Long is game, and puts up a good fight. Maybe he'll test, Sam Peter, I've never seen or heard about this guy Long before.

Although, I would like to see that fight if ever it happens.
well,,if toney looked the way he did against rahman,,,peter would beat him,,,no doubt

Audley Harrison beat Julius Long by tko in the second round so I dont think Peter should have any trouble with him...that was four years ago though but still...

Albeit, the punches didn't hurt the champ at anytime in the fight, but it shows that Toney can make a big puncher miss while scoring his own punches.

Whatever the case, I would love to this fight happen.
oh please,,,,rahman shook him a couple of times and did land some pretty good shots. toney;'s a good defensive fighter but isnt that hard to hit anymore

james toney bends over at the waist way too much to dodge punches. not that there is anything wrong with that. but against sam peter that will get you clubbed behind the head and knocked unconscious.

if toney and peter fight the only question will be does peter get DQ'ed for it, or does he credit for a KO?

Toney would land 400+ punches on Peter. The fight wouldn't be close unless Toney came in at 350 (save the jokes).
