Your right; this guy has no chance. Of his 21 fights, he's lost a third of them!

We critize both Peter and Briggs for beating all these sub-par fighters, yet both George Foreman and Mike Tyson built successful careers on doing the same thing!

There is a big diffrence from a B level fighter to D level fighter. Berbick, Thomas, Tubbs were B level. The clowns Briggs and Peter knock out are not.

Sam Peter would have all sorts of problems with James Toney and IMO would not be able to land any meaningful punches to win the fight. Also, no one in Peter's camp would even consider that fight because of impact it would have on Peter, if Toney embarrassed him or even knocked him out. Although, I would like to see that fight if ever it happens.

I agree with that statement but, Tyson and Foreman fought their share of nobodies just like these two are doing now. And likewise, Tyson and especially Foreman gradually stepped up their opponents to fight for and defend world titles.

Even that sorry excuse of a fighter called Ruiz was able to land 30% of his punches on Toney, imo Toney hanging out by the ropes the whole fight and peter pressuring him will end up in Toney being picked up by ambulance from the first raw of seats. In order to beat peter you gotta box circles around him and not play possum in hopes of him tiring out.

WBC champ Hasim Rahman, who has a hard punch and was in great shape for the Toney fight, couldn't land one meaningful punch on James Toney. At the same time, when Toney wasn't sleep walking, he was hitting Rahman with pretty accurate and crisp punches to the head. Albeit, the punches didn't hurt the champ at anytime in the fight, but it shows that Toney can make a big puncher miss while scoring his own punches.

Whatever the case, I would love to this fight happen.

First of all, Rahman could not land anything meaningful on Barret either. And even though rahman looked like crap in that fight the draw was a gift to Toney. That fight said more about how crappy Rahman is, not how good is Toney.
Anyway if Peter is to fight Toney, I am going with a puncher.

Then why didn't Peter's people put him in against Toney? They knew he would have been embarrassed by how Toney would make him miss.
