To be honest Floyd uses some MMA techniques... his power hugs would do well in MMA.

        Pathetic times indeed.

Who in his right mind would pay to watch this garbage? It's basically a fight between the best eva and a MMA fighter with amateur boxing skills, and under boxing rules. Fans would rather watch Mc Gyver, or whatever tf his name is, against Kamegai or Karass. Salka would beat this guy.

Any idea who started this ****** rumor?

Before McGregor lost boxingscene was writing several articles like this

UFC's McGregor Confident He'd 'Dismantle' Mayweather - See more at: http://www.boxingscene.com/ufcs-mcgr....PSRsjPwv.dpuf

They wrote several articles like the ones above now they are clueless as to why it's being entertained LMAO 😂 Are they sure it's Floyd and not them that needs the "attention "?
Well if that's the case why is there only 3 pages on this thread then ? And half of them are posted by you lol.... Look nobody is gonna pay 70 dollars to watch face a MMA fighter who has literally no experience as a boxer ....face him in a boxing match, it will fail miserably on ppv and nobody cares

How more PATHETIC can you be? Floyd made 70+ clinches against Maidana and Maidana is the dirty one? you can't be more biased, this is just ridiculous.
It's like accusing Canelo of dirty because he hit Floyd with a low punch after Floyd frustrated him with many succesive clinches.

PS: nice deflection. Floyd's a MMA fighter no matter what Maidana does or doesn't.

Should he have been penalized for "illegal defense"?

Traditional Marquess of Queensberry boxing rules.

                  Head and body kicks permitted.

No leg kicks no wrestling no jiu jitsu.

Boxing gloves. Only issue would be footwear as far as head kicks are concerned.

Yeah he might get headlines but he better make sure he don't try and pick an egg & spoon guy as his next opponent and he did with his 49th fight in berto and it made 375k ppv buys ....that's not gonna get him his so called nine figure payday he wants, and he certainly ain't gonna get big numbers if it's against an MMA guy with just a few amatuer boxing fights to his name and floyd wants it to be under the marquis of Queensbury rules .....pandas get a grip and stop encouraging this ridicoulous buffoonery talk by mayweather....mayweathers time is done and he hates not being in the spotlight

There's something called excessive clinching and it's in the boxing rules as something illegal.

                      WBC rules:
A list of common fouls that may be committed by boxers that may be cause for penalty or
                      disqualification is as follows:
                      ...
                      13. Excessive holding the opponent or maintaining a clinch.
                      ...
                      Case closed. Poor guy...

PS: Never got a warning for it... need more proof? he ruined boxing.
