"There'd still be plenty of people who'd drop 70 bucks to watch them go at it in a pay-per-view tennis match"....

That's not a bad idea actually, We all know it's a mismatch of epic proportions if it's boxing or MMA, lets think up something that would be a level playing field.

I would like to see them go at it, head to head in Celebrity Wipeout! I want to see who could get across the big red balls without bouncing off

Nobody cares about Mayweather anymore. He's so irrelevant, so starved for attention that he's having to rely on riding the coattails of some Irish f*g who he wouldn't have even given a second thought about 12 months ago.
Floyd era is over, he needs attention now as a promoter!

I want it to happen because casual fans don't respect boxing and millions of mouths need to be shut.

                  It's a circus act but it's a necessary evil.

Floyd has tried to turn boxing into a more sanitized, low risk sport - with greater rewards for the fighters (generally).

These type of ridiculous match-ups have always been sold as pure circus entertainment for decades.

Problem is that Floyd seriously believes this is going to sell PPV $$$.

And the scariest thing is...it probably will.

Huge difference between being discussed on a forum dedicated to a fringe sport and being discussed in mainstream media outlets. Only by attaching his name alongside a non-boxer could Mayweather generate any real discussion about himself.
