Floyd era is over, he needs attention now as a promoter!LOL @ not being for attention. He admitted to starting these rumours himself, meaning he personally leaked the story to the source that initially reported it. And surprise surprise, he did it on the eve of Canelo-Khan.

Floyd has tried to turn boxing into a more sanitized, low risk sport - with greater rewards for the fighters (generally).
These type of ridiculous match-ups have always been sold as pure circus entertainment for decades.
Problem is that Floyd seriously believes this is going to sell PPV $$$.
