That's great but will Canelo duck his mando GGG and surrender the belt? You're saying his resume makes him more than ready. So is it just cowardice? Like you said, Canelo doesn't seem like an all purpose coward. Wonder what's changed, why he'd suddenly grow a vagina

I'll never believe the Ward fight was even close to happening. Not a sniff.
      • It's irrelevant now that he's at 175 and was always going to move up, whereas Golovkin never really looked that keen to move up to 168.
      • "I'll fight the biggest names from 154 to 168"... yea, but that was when Mayweather, Chavez Jr. and Froch were still around. Ward wasn't. He was too busy being injured or naggling with promoter issues.
      • The gulf between 154 to 160 is smaller than 160 to 168. Most of today's names at 160 would struggle at 168.
      • The demand for Golovkin–Ward wasn't anywhere near the level of Golovkin–Alvarez.
      • Ward will never, ever be a PPV draw like Alvarez.
      • Kovalev–Ward is a better fight in every way.

LOL-GGG said he'll fight ANYONE from 154 to 168...keyword ANYONE.

Ward called him out when before the promotional issues were peaked.

As long as we are talking business, ppv draws, etc then you should note that Ward does similar views as GGG. Also, if we are talking in this matter that Canelo has the right in your eyes to make demands since he is the PPV star,eh?

The thing is-Canelo really has no history of ducking, whereas the fact remains that GGG has.
Everytime people said he wouldn't fight so and so-he fought them.

Both Canelo and GGG are playing the "game". Both want easier fights to continue winning and making easy money. Can't blame one guy when both do the same ****.

              Pffft! The Ward/Lara brigade

Who called him out and he said no? Let me guess, Ward and Lara.

              WARD

That's not a big fight. It will attract hard core fans, but Ward isn't popular with fans, that's not a huge fight. Just like Ward/Kov won't be huge either. Ward can't sell out his home stadium. A fight With GGG being a success hinges on GGG crossing over. ITS THAT SIMPLE. Ward actually had a chance to fight GGG and said NO. WTF! Ward only spoke up about fighting GGG after the Canelo/Cotto mandatory situation took hold. But he didn't want the fight anytime soon (it was summer of 2015), he wanted fall of 2016. His email was a joke. He wanted to lock in 50/50 before GGG blew up. K2 was smart to say bug off. They told Ward 2017 (roughly five months later than Ward wanted). They still say when both are done with current path that it could happen. Ward is the one saying never.

              LARA

Lara, how can we take him serious if all he does to push for the fight is talk on Twitter and to media? If Lara was serious about landing GGG, he'd call K2 and offer to make fight with a purse that would cause k2 to lose money

As of now, and in past, Lara doesn't bring a fan base to table. If GGG and him fought the fight wouldn't be a huge financial success. So why the **** would K2 pay Lara 3-6 million to fight. Lara gives them nothing worth losing millions for.

Lara comes up to 160, and agrees to take a purse that fits into the financials, sure the. K2 and GGG should take up it. If not, then Lara is all yapping.

That's 2 fights that he wasn't interested in...how many has Canelo ducked?

As for Ward/GGG...how can you say it isn't a big fight?????? It's much bigger than a Stevens fight or a Rosado fight and both guys have similar numbers in viewers......that's a bogus excuse.

GGG is aiming for Canelo, would fight in 9 weeks if if Ginger said lets do it.

GGG has been trying to get the WBC and lineal champion to fight him since 2014. He couldn't get Sergio, Geale said no when he had title, Cotto said no, and now Canelo.

Canelo was the one who delayed this fight to get khan.

So how is GGG aiming for easier opponents. He wants Jacobs, he wants Canelo, he wants Suanders. All three are Champions at MW. All three fight heavier than GGG.

Canelo aiming for Khan, and now pacman.

So I can blame one guy when he's the one holding up the fight. It's widely reported all the top MW fighters who have turned GGG down.

First, now can't be interested in fights that are not real. Lara and Ward were not making legit offers.

Who wasn't interested in. If some saying your name is merely what it takes to ducks, then Canelo has been called out by Charlo, Andrade, Lara for rematch (was a close fight after all), and even Brooks said he'd fight Canelo.

Applying your logic, Canelo has spent years getting around these guys.

Hell, J-rock recently said he'd fight Canelo are destroy him.
