Yeah, so it's NOT about the belts. Even a blind man can see that.

He'll be regretting not taking that Golovkin offer, and that's what GGG's team knows.

As to step-aside v belts...in my opinion, Golovkin genuinely thought Canelo would fight him, and knew Cotto never would. It was a simple choice - accept 800k for a fight that would never happen v Cotto, and hopefully a few months down the line get a Canelo fight. You can't blame his choice at the time, he didn't know Canelo would avoid him. If he does it again though, I'll agree.
Now that's just a LIE!!! They said they offered "Life Changing amount of Money" and let the media report it was around $6 million and then for SURE $4 million...We NOW know it was only $1.5 million. So stop with the BS. He ain't worth even that but if he wants the belt he has to pay. Instead they chose to pay some HOUSE ARREST BUN $500K.

Ward and his team again offered a fight with GGG while he was getting ready for Lemieux, yes...it wasn't to abandon the Lemieux fight-it could have been AFTER that fight....instead-in 5 minutes they let Ward's attorney know that they were not interested.
sure.... sure..... lose your Canelo mando spot, and get stripped of the IBF belt you just won, all so you can fight Ward (a guy who cant draw ants to a picnic outside Oakland) in 12-18 months, at a weight Ward hasnt made in 3 years, assuming he doesnt pull out with an injury or lawsuit. Yep, brilliant career move!

Of course Loeffler rejected Ward's offer. It was a fucking joke. Who but Andre Ward would challenge a man in a lower division to move up and fight him ... "but not yet doe ... I'm not ready yet ... sometime next year ... after I've had a couple of tune-ups"

Loeffler basically told him to fuck off, get his tune-ups done, and come back later when he was actually ready to fight and GGG had finished his business at 160.

My prediction ... Ward will never be ready, either for Golovkin or Kovalev.

Ward hasn't fought Kovalev and he never will, imo. Both Golovkin and Krusher would destroy Ward and he knows it, that's why he's still pissing around with tune-ups 16 months after he signed his new contract with Roc.

If Ward actually signs to fight Kovalev himself, which he hasn't done yet, then I will give him the credit he deserves for doing it. Not before.

Yes but the mandatory don't have to negotiate a 155 catchweight that's the whole point lol

Well, they didn't chose to pay the guy. It was his mandatory after Tureano Johnson discovered a "mysterious injury" and has now gone completely silent about the prospect of ever facing GGG.
