Really don't matter, he instead moved up to fight somebody MORE DANGEROUS while with respect to GGG he is still fight inferior opponents of course that is not his fault I get that but his Resume haven't improved AT ALL since the Ward back and forth

GGG fans and Abel Sanchez should probably just STFU about Ward because it is a argument you can't win. Ward is daring to be great by going up to fight someone who is TRULY the most dangerous man in boxing which is Kovalev

Know your history before you start making excuses for fighters.

Canelo is negotiating just like you said golovkin was doing.

      Don't be a hypocrite.

They actual travel they're not afraid to fight in someone elses territory unlike lil Ward who can't jump on a plane for a rematch with the biggest PPV name at 168.

Ward is a nobody, unheard of you really think Floyd would jump up to 154 to fight Lara?
This is the same case Ward and Lara both talented but nobody cares or knows who they are.

So first your argument was ward is not popular enough. Then I give you Golovkin's resume of unknown fighters.

Now your argument is ward doesn't travel enough.

        Lmao

So fighting Kovalev is a lesser evil than staying at the division you own with no threat in sight?

Pretty much. He was stuck between a rock and a hard place. If he couldn't even make 168 anymore, he made the right call. Tough choice, gotta give him credit.

just because Hops and Canelo were willing to ********** themselves and bend over for a few pieces of silver, that means every other fighter is somehow obligated to do the same?

I agree with GGG that there should not be catchweights in mandatory defenses. I also believe there should not be catchweights in title unifications. The reasoning is that they are not necessary. They are simply a means for the more popular fighter to weaken the less popular fighter

Going above ur apex is difficult, going below is damn near impossible. Especially once you've entered ur prime.
