Why didn't Ward accept to fight GGG at 164?

And the reason Ward *****ED, is because he KNEW he would lose.Weight wasn't a problem for Lil G, Ward being too good was. Proven by the fact he wanted to fight others at 168. People mentioning money know Ward would have been by far the biggest pay day of his career, although at the time they were arguing Lemieux was a bigger draw and Lil G's PPV would sell 500k.
Lil G fans can try and skate around it with other excuses but the main reason he asked for 164 for Ward and not for others is because he was afraid of losing.
That's all! Thanks!Comment

LoL
You don't know who you're arguing with... Red Cyclone aka Freedom2016 (he renamed himself after a banned poster lol @ the mancrush) is one of the worst posters here, don't try to be logical with him..... he's not trolling either, he's just special.Comment

just because Hops and Canelo were willing to ********** themselves and bend over for a few pieces of silver, that means every other fighter is somehow obligated to do the same?
I agree with GGG that there should not be catchweights in mandatory defenses. I also believe there should not be catchweights in title unifications. The reasoning is that they are not necessary. They are simply a means for the more popular fighter to weaken the less popular fighter
I'm not saying every fighter should do the same. I'm saying that it's been done in the past when it came to making the biggest fight the sport has too offer.
Hopkins did what he had to do in order to get oscar in the ring. Canelo did what he had to do in order to get floyd in the ring.
Golovkin must do the same or risk fighting monroe level fighters for the rest of his career. Fighting those kind of fighters don't bring money or glory
Sometimes you gotta sacrifice to get the fights you want. Especially when it's a career high paydayComment

u guys are debating none sense ggg team never sent ward an offer at all let alone an offer for 164 it was just a pr stunt to get the ggg groupies on his side for not wanting to fight wardComment

164 isn't a real compromise. Losing weight is harder than gaining weight. Ward would be dead. It's funny how clowns cry about Ward being too big and how he has to fight at 175, but then act like him fighting at 164 is plausibleComment

Are you serious?!?!?!
I would say it's a lot easier to gain weight and move up a division than to shed weight for a fight Ward knows he could very well lose. Shedding weight to fight GGG is too much for Ward to handle and risk,....besides, I doubt he possesses the work ethic to make it happen.Comment

Golovkin said it himself. Simple question: Whart was Ward's answer on that challenge? Did he reply? Did he got the ball rolling or was he quiet for 8 months? What offer? Abel sachez is not a promoter or a Manager. He is a trainer. He said 50/50 164 catchweight. Not Tom Loeffler. So unless you got a video of Loeffler saying he offered Ward the fight. Stop spewing fanboy propaganda.
I have never heard Tom Loeffler say he offered Ward a fight. But I have heard him say team ward offered them a fight. It's just that the Lemiuex fight was already done according to Loeffler
By the way, here's the link: http://www.boxingscene.com/golovkins...0-split--93258
Loeffler said it and not Sanchez. So who's spreading fanboy propaganda now?Comment
