I want to agree, but Kell is looking for a certain kind of guy and Vargas has the symptoms. He stands around a lot, like he's waiting for a bus, not known for his speed or power. In the UK? Kell is licking his chops. Big offer? 5 tickets and two rooms.

Honestly man I see what u mean, i wont totally fanboy it. I didnt care for Jessie Vargas until the Bradley fight & not bcuz of the 12th but bcuz he showed a never give up attitude, Tim may have been more athletic and landed 2 but Vargas made sure he landed 1 in return. I had the fight 9-3 with 1 swing rd, clear win for tim but no domination. I really think Vargas came into his own though, at 140 he was fighting like someone hes not and at 147 he figured out who he is. I really think the momentum is on Vargas side, the Ali win was nice and the Bradley finish made him hungry. He will take that in with Brook & mixed with vargas height, reach & range makes a bad stylistic fight for Brook given the right ref. The ref will be a bigger factor than the judges...

Bradleys a volume in yo face type fighter. Brook is the total opposite. Itll be a chess match in the beginning but i guarantee Vargas wil land cleaner & take the better punch after 6. I may be reaching but I think Vargas may TKO him late...

You guys have to understand. Vargas is juiced up now. So it won't be as easy as it would have been for brook. Brook has been on the juice for a minute though. It's a toss up fight for me.

Hey u may be right "but" Brook hasnt beaten anything but prospect than too. & as a future HOF trainer myself that admires Manny Steward, im surprised u dont appreciate Vargas 1-2, it looked real nice against a Champion prospect...

I congratulate Brook for his willingness to step up and fight a top 10 fighter in the welterweight division. However, I am sure he is only doing it because British boxing fans refuse to continue to support his fights against top 200 opponents. When Showtime refuses to show your fights, you know that you are fighting a lame-ass opponent.

Eddie Hearn seems to always have "huge offers" on the table that nobody takes.

I'm starting to wonder if I should believe him.
