      And as far this dude:

      https://www.rt.com/sport/339419-bann...m-russia-wada/

Issue a ban affecting the livelihoods of hundreds of athletes, akin to slandering them in the court of public opinion and the media, labeling them as drug users, only to later say "hmmm, maybe we'll give you a pass after all"?

If this were REALLY a serious PED, they would not back down.

Or how about this ***el from just a few days ago:

      Goes on and on:

Even ***** got involved, and WADA started to choke when the Kremlin got involved:

      On and on:

This is a drug that's been around and used by people for over 70 years. All of a sudden, at a point when Russian athletes are gaining traction, we see this otherwise benign drug get banned.

Now, if WADA does back down like I figure they will and take it off the ban list, guess what? They've already ruined the lives of hundreds of athletes.

      It's political BS.

The fight should go on TO SPITE WADA if Wilder is still game. Boxing needs fights like Wilder/Povetkin and we can't keep letting these drug agencies play whack-a-mole with people's lives.
i don't see anything about an investigation on wada for the ban. you have a bunch of cheats in russia complaining but thats about it........

                • No resolution with this yet? Wtf WBC &/or WADA &/or whoever needs to make a call here. Fight is less than a week away now. Must suck, for both guys, to be in the gym trying to train hard &/or focus on a fight that you don't know if it'll happen or not & could potentially be canceled at any moment.

And lol at the couple guys still arguing about this not being a problem. And all the while ignoring the clean tests before the dirty tests with this "substance that stays in the body for months" loooool.

This is the whole truth. Russian sportsmen are under attack for last year.

I think their still waiting for the B-sample. No way this fight is happening. And it shouldn't. The WBC has a chance to prove that they give a **** about safety and fighting a level playing field.

Povetkin is a proven drug cheat and should be punished, suspended and possibly sued. He's not hitting tennis balls he's throwing punches.
