The drugs are still in his system and boxing is a dangerous sport, it's not tennis

It's not fair on Wilder going in the ring knowing his opponent was taking something to enhance his performance.

Yep, exactly this. Doesn't matter who you were a fan of the reality is Povetkin alone jeopardized this fight after everyone involved spent all of these resources and money putting this fight together and now everyone has been put in the difficult position of trying to scramble and figure out what to do next. All because Povetkin took a banned substance which you cannot claim ignorance on after all of the press that this drug has received over the past several months.

Not really man, regardless of when he took it, he took it and gained from it.

From a legal perspective, it was considered a legal supplement until this year. No more dirty than protein powder.

WADA has already issued positive test "amnesty" for athletes who took it before it was banned, so it's just a matter of whether they determine Povetkin took it before or after the ban.
