First, wilder is very suspect of steroids use.
Second, meldonium is not a steroid. It's for endurance.
Third, everyone in the HW division is on roids probably.

Does anyone know how long it stays in your system?

I agree some people need to realize this was a legal drug for 46 years or whatever length so it's not like he's on some crazy steroids, BUT with that said, it's been highly publicized that this drug is banned since Jan, everyone knows about it especially in Russia, there are no excuses for Povetkin at all. He done ****ed up. Wilder can walk if he wants, which I'm sure his team is advising. Perhaps a small chance they could throw a ton of extra cash at him but honestly, Povetkin doesn't deserve the fight at this point. He knew.

according to the people who manufacture it... yes

              • How bad is this substance? Wikipeda says this
Since January 1, 2016, it has been on the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) list of substances banned from use by athletes.[2] However, there are debates over its use as an athletic performance enhancer. Some athletes are known to have been using it before it was banned.

                • So if he took it in September, how long will it stay in your system?

How long is the half life of the drug? It was recently banned.

manufacturer says yes, several months detectable in system

WADA says yes, which is why it grants amnesty to some meldonium cases if amounts are small since some athletes may still have it in their system from when it was legal

boxingscene forum says no, meldonium is indetectable in the system after 1 hour
