Stressed from the pressure of having to perform well in Puerto Rico. Watch the fight again and watch his face the stress is apparent. Herrea also prepared for and fought the fight of his life. He fought valelently and very well but only managed to make it close.
Danny would literally walk over hererra in a rematch today. There should t be any Doubt about that.

Pointless fight. Nobody, not even those so-calld fans who want to say "greatness dominate" should ever want to pay for this.

Provo, who again by the same logic, never fought above 140 prior to the fight. A shot Brandon Rios? Vargas is a nice victory, but he's not world class fighter. Even though paulie and Robert are passed their prime, they're still no pushover fights.Last edited by Mr. Punch-Out!!; 05-13-2016, 09:55 AM.

Regarding GGG, the "who has GGG beat?" question is total BS. GGG has destroyed everyone who's had the balls to get in the ring with him. The only reason he hasn't fought bigger names is because those bigger names won't fight him at middleweight. People say, "well, why doesn't he move up to 168," but that's BS too. He wants to unify at 160, which is 100% legitimate.
Fans who find fault with GGG's resume are generally the same fans who don't want their favorite fighter to face him.

People complain about this fight but really? Danny is undefeated and is a champion. Floyd would be fighting another champion. Make excuses all you want its a fight that may or may not be easy for Floyd. Floyd gets discredited regardless of who he fights so why the hell not give Danny a shot, he's the champ at 147.
The problem many of you have here is you want Floyd to fight GGG when that weight class is way above Floyds natural weight against a guy that is not willing to come down no matter what he says in GGG. Its a fantasy to even ask for that fight. GGG should be fighting at 168 and will ultimately end up at 175 before its said and done. Floyd started his Career at 130, GGG has always fought at 160 never moved up or down its his natural fighting weight.
It is absurd to call for that fight when GGG would not even budge to go to 168 to fight Ward. But he wants a guy that started at 130 to come all the way up to 160. Its ******ity on some of you on this board.Last edited by BucaRican; 05-13-2016, 10:04 AM.

Hearns, Duran, and SRL. I don't see that type of competition coming up to fight GGG anytime soon! I think it will better for his legacy to unify MW and SWW, and maybe a catch-weight fight with Ward or Kovalev as the "cherry on top!"

I don't know how good Garcia can be but right now he is underrated and being groomed smartly. A battle-tested, experienced, young champion with an extended amateur background. Is entering his physical prime. Is mentally strong. Garcia is a tough out for anybody and when the smoke clears, we may all be surprised at who's left standing at 147.
I don't think Garcia beats Spence, and I don't think he beats Floyd, but everybody else???
Frankly, I'm a huge mayweather fan, but I was disappointed in him against Manny, and even more so against berto. His age is definitely showing.
Garcia is young, strong, smart, talented, and very underrated. Taking all that into account, along with Floyd's age, I just don't see him walking through Garcia, or schooling him for 12 rounds, though I do think Floyd is still good enough to win a close a fight. 7-5 or 8-4, with a couple close rounds.
