that is the most ridiculous thing i've heard. the belt is for middleweight, 160 pounds.

Khan went up 2 weight divisions whereas Canelo won't even fight in his own division.

Putting on 2lbs is a lot easier than losing 3 pounds. That is disgusting to think that that was fair.

      Very specific eh?

15 days to amicably make a deal.. If no deal is made even After 15 days it goes to purse bid and that should be done in the next 15 days.. So there is your total of 30 days

if they havent made a deal in 15 days, then a purse bid hearing is held, at which point a date is set for the purse bid. They can still keep negotiating right up until the moment of the purse bid, and if a deal is made then the bid is called off.......

Fight should be at 160. No excuse for it not to be. Take this A-side, B-side **** somewhere else, rules exist for a reason.

And correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Canelo say in the post-fight conference a few nights ago that he was ready to fight Golovkin at 160? Kind of hard to back down from that now.

If he wants to Winky his career, just decline a catchweight and wait for Canelo to get stripped
