Looks like Khan doesn't have as big as a fan base as he thinks because 90% of the fans were team Canelo. Of course GTards think everyone was there to see him sit and eat popcorn.
Fk casual fans! They all buy $20 ggg tickets but won't buy his PPV fight against Lemuix.
How much was your tickets??? Everyone I talked to said they liked the Arena and it had a great atmosphere...
On the other hand, Floyd and Manny were mobbed everywhere they went.
Wouldnt surprise me if this fight didnt generate great PPV numbers as it just didnt hold much interest for the casuals.
BTW, never been a fan of Floyd the person but I got in a lift with him and he was as nice as pie and spent quite a few minutes chatting to me about Dubai, etc

Lol no **** but I love GGG , his craft and angles in the ring and his humble intelligence and most of all he has humongous balls, underneath baby face he is warrior Kazakh tribesman all the way
Canelo is a tough guy but gingerweight 155 is bad joke , he has no legitimacy as a middleweight titlist without 160lb limit, the entire history of middleweight div is bigger than gingerballs cherrypickez

Mayweather and Froch were always going to be big draws and big $ fights even coming out of retirement. And very likely worth taking a detour for. It's common sense. Ward, however, hasn't done anything significant in the ring in years. Still really hasn't. K2 and HBO were ready to make the fight and they all agreed it needed time to build it up. All they've consistently asked of Ward was to get busy, rebuild your brand, and then we can talk. It's been stated clearly and consistently for the past 2 years. Whether you like the way it comes out of Abel's mouth, Tom's mouth or GGG's doesn't matter. It's all been the same thing. Ward had plenty of time to make the fight happen, but he didn't do squat. Sending a lousy offer to GGG then running to the press with it while calling Golovkin names made the move seem more like a publicity stunt rather than a true intent to pursue the fight. No sane person in GGG's position would've signed that contract. End of story. If you would've, tell me why....
The real nuances come from all the critics who prefer to read body language, put words in people's mouths or thoughts in their heads all while ignoring the changing landscape of GGG's career path to suit their own biased agenda.Originally posted by kafkod View PostRight. "I want to fight Golovkin ... not yet doe ... sometime next year ... after we both have a couple of interim fights"
"Golovkin don't want none, so now I'm gonna dare to be great, move up and fight Kovalev at 175 ... not yet doe ... I still need a couple of tune ups ... not sure when I'll be ready ..."

Gennady speaks English like an expert
After reading the article, I feel like the writer is speaking in behalf of GGG.
GGG doesn't communicate fluently and clearly as he is quoted in this article.
Heavy communication like this belongs to Malignant Nagging or Paulie.

I suspect he doesnt have all the variables of the English language down pat yet, so quite a bit is lost when he is answering in English. In his native tongue however, he doesnt mince words and comes off as a very serious cat that isnt about any foolishness.......

Golovkin: "You say - Lara. He is a boxer who after all his losses wants to make money, who wants to go out on HBO and thus speculates on big names. But there is a number of much more experienced guys who truly deserve a chance to go on another level."
Ducking coward confirmed.
