    Read this.....

if Golovkin were to pull off a victory over Ward, Golovkin would be catapulted to heights and fame that could only be touched by Mayweather himself. Golovkin would become the WBA super middleweight champion, and instantly become the face of boxing with the retirement of Mayweather looming. Golovkin would then truly become the man to beat, and make him the A-side fighter in negotiations with anyone he faces afterwards. Therefore, in my opinion, Ward is the true A-side.
    http://www. boxing news 24 .com/2015/07/ward-vs-ggg-whos-really-the-a-side/

Stop being ridiculous, they were willing to fight old Froch at 172 because Froch is "available" and they think they can beat him..... making out like Ward is irrelevant is absurd.

Does it really feel like Golovkin is a hero when you are co-signing those weak excuses?

Dude..... last year, they repeatedly approached Chudinov, and they recently approached Ramirez..... which of those two super-stars will "compensate" Golovkin for his efforts?
You twisted the **** out of an interview to put your own words in Loeffler's mouth to suit your agenda. You pull this crap all the time. And, you're wrong...Ward was irrelevant because he was not ready to fight and Golovkin would've been ****** to commit to a Ward fight on Ward's terms and timeline. The 164/168 issue shouldn't matter. They took a jab at Ward with 164 while offering Froch 168. It wasn't a serious offer because they knew he wouldn't do it. Doesn't negate the legitimate reasons they weren't going to sign a contract to fight Ward on Ward's terms when they have more relevant options and Ward wanted tune ups.

So what if they contacted Chudinov last year. Maybe they were looking at options for a move up. As far as I know, the only one who put that out there was Chudinov's management. As for Ramirez, what's the problem? He's a plan C or D at this point. Either way, these guys are active fighters who'd take the fight without needing tuneups.

You should be happy Loeffler's talking about the possibility of the fight should Ward beat Kovalev and Golovkin beat Canelo. Why? Well, because it eliminates the only legitimate reason they had to not pursue the fight. Ward will be P4P #1 and it will be a big $$$ fight. One that I want to see as much as you do...I fully expect at some point in the next 2 years it should happen. I'll be pretty disappointed if it doesn't and will be right with you on Golovkin's case if it looks like they're avoiding it.

        You have no shame LMAO

They blatantly ducked Ward by demanding a catchweight that they knew he couldn't make.

The catchweight demand was as serious as you can get, AND it was a show-stopper.....

Andre Ward Must Go to 164 or No Fight.....
Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas - Abel Sanchez, trainer of WBA/IBO middleweight champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin, has made it absolutely clear that he's not going to budge from his position that a potential fight with Andre Ward will only happen if Ward - the recognized champion at super middleweight - is wiling to meet them halfway at a catch-weight of 164-pounds. Golovkin and his team received more than their fair share of heat in recent days, after placing a catch-weight demand on a potential fight with Ward. The reason for the heat, is because Golovkin was willing to fight both Carl Froch and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. at the full super middleweight limit.

GGG is now clearly the ‘A’ side yet Ward still would want to dictate terms, which makes no sense,” Loeffler said. “GGG would fight Ward on a 50-50 basis, the best 160-pounder versus the best 168-pounder (at) 164..... "
        http://www. boxing news 24 .com/2015...-basis-at-164/

Have you no shame at all ? LMAO

Mr businessman (Golovkin), stated that the A-side will dictate the terms, including weight..... and yet now, Mr businessman no longer thinks that it is appropriate for the A-side to dictate terms, including the weight LMAO

The ONLY thing that changed is the shoe is now on the other foot.

        Have you no shame ?

The only thing funnier than Ward having to " earn his shot " at lil'G by beating Kovalev..... is the fact that YOU think lil'G will fight Ward AFTER he beats Kovalev

Fk me, if Ward has to beat Kovalev, then who the fk did lil'G-string beat to earn at shot at Canelo?

          Are you serious ?

I think that must be what Hopkins is doing.....

..... he is trolling the " Ward must beat Kovalev first " people.

It's the only explanation that I can think of, because Golovkin has clearly earned his shot at ANY middleweight hardware.

He just hasn't earned his shot to dictate terms to Canelo, that's all.

Canelo should drop the belt, but GGG should man-up and live up to his hype.

Have you no reading comprehension? Of course they knew Ward wouldn't agree to 164. Here's my post again...

work your way up then fight kovalev at 17 then drop back down to 155 to fight canelo for a belt he was by then stripped of 2 years ago

                  slick plan

meanwhile, canelo (who weighs more than golovkin) is fighting amir khan

lets imagine sergey kovalev vs amir khan for a moment

Confirmation bias. Loeffler says no such thing about Ward needing to earn a GGG fight by beating Kovalev. Simply that if Ward beats Kov he is on top of the boxing world. And if GGG beats Canelo it becomes a big $$$ fight. You're twisting the **** out of it.

I'll remain an optimist about the possibility of GGG/Ward. It's not going away anytime soon because people will be asking about it as long as both fighters are active.
