that depends on when floyd's return is. if not this year then by next year, i would assume GGG will be in a few big fights and will come out victorious and will be established as a p4p ppv fighter. in this case, i dont think GGG is gonna bend over for floyd.

By next year what big fights will GGG have had?? there are no big fights that are even comparable to a Mayweather fight

Canelo is the A side, his last fight sold more PPVs than Floyd's.

Thats a bit of a misleading comparison. You are comparing Canelo numbers against another star fighter, where Canelo was actually the B side, with Floyd numbers against a relatively unheard if Berto.

A more accurate comparison would be Floyd-Cotto with Cotto-Canelo (1.4M-0.9M), and to compare Floyd-Berto with Canelo-Angulo or Canelo-Kirkland (450k-350k). A more accurate comparison shows that Mayweather should rightly be considered the A side in any negotiations.

Not sure about 70/30 but it would be close to 50/50 and here is why. Floyd's draw power is at a alltime low. His last fight did at or lower then 400k PPV per multiple sources which is his lowest PPVs in like a decade. While Canelo just did double that amount 900k and his popularity is rising he has not even peaked yet. Matter fact other then the Pacman fight and his fight with Canelo you can make the case that all of the fights Floyd had on Showtime under performed and lost money. Did about 800k PPV buys with Maidana. These would be GREAT PPV numbers for anyone else except for the fact that Floyd was being paid 32mil in guaranteed purses far greater then any other fighter with large sums like that come expectations of selling well over 1m PPV to break even.

I meant he'll be in with bigger names so by then he won't be desperate for a mayweather fight anymore because he would be established as a draw already. And I said I would "assume".. So I'm not saying it's a guarantee that this will happen.

Unless Floyd intends on taking a massive paycut who can he fight that will generate over 1m PPV buys? You see what his drawing power is now that the Manny fight is off the table. A huge amount of fans bought both Manny and Floyd fights hoping they would face each other. Now that they finally did Manny and Floyd both drew more then half of what they used to in their last fights. And right before they fought you saw a consistent dip in their PPVs. They now need each other or another mega star like Canelo to draw big ratings to justify their enormous purse requirements. Manny took a paycut his last fight with Bradley (20mil), down from the 25m he made to fight Algieri PRE-Mayweather, and it still lost money for Top Rank.

I can't see anyone giving Floyd 32m when his ratings are significantly less then they were at the time he signed his last deal with Showtime. Unless it's a fight with Canelo or Manny. So he will have to share more of the percent pie with both guys if he wants that fight despite the fact that he actually already beat both.
