The common denominator is not the opponents but the rankings.

    Marquez: P4P # 2

    Ortiz: WBC champion

    Guerrero: WBC mandatory challenger

    Manny Pacquiao: P4P # 2

Floyd never based his choices on previous opponents, he based it on rankings a titles.

Garcia is the potential next opponent because the Sulaiman's clever scheme.

He made Floyd champion emeritus at 147 and 154 for the wbc specifically for this reason, so that Floyd will be practically (not quite, but sort of) obligated to fight a wbc champion when he returns, so that Sulaiman can get em sanctioning fees.

People out here were calling him ****** for giving Floyd that status, lol, but who is looking ****** now?

That guy played us. Only question is whether Floyd was in on it or if he got played too.

Closest thing I found to a list was Mayweather's hit list of 2009.
Jeff Mayweather just came out and said hes fighting DSG. I also read somethings recently from Floyd Sr or Roger that says the same and I believe Canelo was even talked about by them. I know Floyds his own boss but thats still his team speaking. And of course, I dont think any boxer writes out their list nowadays, but potential candidates are not looking like and AA fighters.

I respect your answer. It makes sense and not all defensive.

Who's benefiting for this future Mayweather vs a black guy fight (besides the black guy getting the payday)? Did anyone benefit from Shane vs Floyd or Floyd vs Berto or Floyd vs Zab?

And come on man even if there isn't any black cats on this alleged list lets be real Latino's sell more than anyone else in boxing these days & Floyd is 0% latino last I heard.

If you wanna comeback & do PPV buys,
You need to give a Mexican a black eye.

No but boxing didnt need it than. Now the best black on black fight is Cormier vs Jon Jones if you get my point.

                Apples & oranges.

Despite Arum saying white racists are the only people watching MMA the truth is that all races are watching more or less (with the black & latino audiences growing along with the number of elite level black & latino fighters, a Mexican, Yair Rodriguez, arguably might be the best prospect around the lighter weights right now) although they tend to be of a younger demo then boxing & its cuz boxing hasn't appealed to them in a long time or holds no appeal at all to them. The same way many boxing fans look at MMA is the way some MMA people look at boxing. Boxing is two guys with pillows on their hands avoiding fighting each other for a half hour to them.

And then we got boxing which is highly dependent on its latino fanbase in the US & based on the poor Floyd vs Andre numbers I don't think anyone is clamoring for a all black super fight unless its some King Kong vs Godzilla fight, but they will tune in for Floyd vs random latino guy.

And the bottom line is MMA is about the fight, Boxing is about the names so MMA has more intrinsic value regardless of the race/color/nationality of the athletes. A white girl got applauded in Brazil after beating a Brazilian. Thats some Rocky IV ****, but that really happened in MMA.

Looking at the top boxing PPV numbers only 3 don't involve a latino or a HW out of the top 30 all time.

1)Floyd vs Manny which does happen to be #1 all time, but those are both superstar caliber guys & #1 & #2 of this era
2)Floyd vs Shane which is two HOF caliber guys
3)Manny vs Shane which again is two HOF caliber guys
