Yes but I don't think he has been avoiding guys in his OWN division wich cannot be said for 90% of others boxing stars.

It's kinda harsh to label Golovkin as a ducker.

More than anything else, Ward isn't an idiot and back pedaled because he realized that fight would never happen but I think he meant it.

Lara is an Haymon's cat, and fighting at 154, so we can guess that fight never was something serious.

I think Golovkin sould fight Lara, that's a great fight between 2 amateur world champions.

But in the last years he has only been fighting flat footed or weak guys so it would be a huge jump in level, he should fight Jacobs of Saunders next before a Lara showdown.
GGG is probably starting to get used too much to "friday nights"level fighters.

But if he ko Jacobs or Saunders in less than 8 rounds people will say he fought another bum.

How many times have I told you that, to me, Ward and Golovkin's statements about dropping weight for Floyd should not be viewed as serious attempts to make a fight?

The same thing applies to Lara putting out challenges to Golovkin on twitter.

And remember, Ward started talking about fighting Floyd off his own bat. All Golovkin has ever done is say that he would fight him if he got the chance, when asked about it in interviews

What I am asking from you and the rest of the GGG hate squad is that you stop being hypocrites and start applying the same standards to Golovkin as you apply to Ward.

If you are going to say: "Golovkin would go to 154 for Floyd, so why not 155 for Canelo?"

Then you should not throw abuse at me when I counter that by saying: "Ward would go to 160 for Floyd, so why not 164 for Golovkin?"

Golovkin and his camp have been mentioning the possible fight against Mayweather since last year. Golovkin even indicated that he is willing to go down to 154 pounds in order to convince the 49-0 boxing superstar to come out of retirement.....

I'm convinced Nelo would have more pop/speed at 160.

That's what happended with Pacquiao moving up from 130 to 140/147.
He stopped rehydrating more than 5 pounds.

Unlike what Malignaggi said "it's impossible to grow up after 29 and keeping his speed while increasing power".
That's not the subject.

Pacquiao didn't grow up in weight, he already was 145 on fight nights when he was fighting at 130, right now he fights around 148, so he has bulked up 3 pounds.

He's basically the same cat, but isn't rehydrating 15 pounds anymore.
He's the same fighter with obviously MORE energy (speed/power) in his punches.

Rehydrating 15/20 pounds in 24 hours is a torture session.

Keep dropping that knowledge.

If Canelo wants to keep his title he has to fight at the MW limit.

The situations are only different in that Golovkin would go all the way down to 154, Floyd's own division, Ward wanted Floyd to come up 6lbs for him.

So stop flannelling and answer my question - if Ward would go down to 160 for Floyd, why wouldn't he go to 164 for Golovkin?

Any proof? Well I've never seen one post on this noxious forum slamming Lewis for it, somehow only Bowe is shat on for that. Who would have thunk it. And obviously that's the last high profile mando duck this compares to.

There's no estimate on a duck, get it? If opponent refuses to sign a contract and enter the ring, you make nothing. What did Lewis make on the Bowe fight? What's so complicated?
