Unless any of these guys were mandatories, he CHOSE to fight them. Please correct me if I'm wrong here. In that time, GGG's made it clear that MW unification is his top priority. It has been since the Rubio fight when he put himself in a mandatory position for the WBC title. That's nearly two years Lara's had to go and grab either a MW belt or put himself in a mandatory position to one of GGG's belts. Why hasn't he done it?...
In the same 2 years, Danny Jacobs has won and held the WBA World title and is now being discussed as a GGG opponent. Like Lara, Jacobs is a Haymon fighter. Don't recall Lara ever pursuing a Jacobs fight even though a win would put him in a position to legitimately demand a Golovkin fight.
Lara could've also gotten a fight with Tureano Johnson who became the IBF mando after he beat O'Kane on the GGG/Lemieux undercard 6 months ago. GGG won the IBF title and inherited the mandatory - this is all public knowledge. Lara could've tried for a fight with Johnson. In fact, Tureano posts..."All Al fighters, Lara, Sebastian H, Eubanks Jr and all. Let's Glover it up." at 3:47pm on Nov 16 of 2015 on his Twitter account. Now, I know how seriously the Lara fans take Twitter callouts, so the fight was obviously there to be made if Lara wanted it. Why didn't Lara accept the challenge when a win would've put him in Wade's shoes?
Of course Lara could always skip all that and just show up at one of GGG's fights and call him a chump and a ducker. Maybe pull a Curtis Stevens and insult his family - Golokvin doesn't seem to like that. Might be more effective than a tweet.
As I said, all tweet no action.
Let me simplify this with 3 irrefutable facts; Genady has never has an opponent as good as Lara. He could take that fight and put a legit name on his resume. He has no interest in that.
That's all fine but you guys are hell bent on making it seem like every action that happens in his life is benevolent, heroic, and noble. No one else he interacts with can possibly be "right" or even seen as equal. Every decision his management team makes is with the most pure and heroic of decisions. He is without flaw. You have placed him in the role of a cult leader and you are his flock. That's just fking creepy.

Whether or not Lara accepts the offer is a different topic but it's definitely up to team GGG to get the ball rolling. I think if the fight happens GGG wins but it would be interesting to see what fashion he does it in. Yes Lara has no fights at 160 but guess what, neither did Gabe Rosado.

If GGG didn't have the interim status with the WBC then you better believe he'd be calling Canelo out while WAITING for an offer.

Rosado made 150k vs Ggg 3 years ago on an undercard, useless comparison

It would be nice if more people could be honest and relent a few points here and there, when it's appropriate.

The lengths I have to go to? I presented you two simple paths Lara could've taken. Jacobs is another Haymon fighter. Easy fight to make. T Johnson was the IBF mando to GGG when he called out Lara last Nov. Easy fight to make. That's two potential roads with NO obstacles. One fight away from a GGG fight. Instead, he CHOOSES to fight Delvin Rodriguez and Jan Zaveck. If that's a lot of hoops to you, well then...
What's really creepy, is the depths of irrationality you and others will go to in order to prove your misconceptions correct. I understand some GGG fans can be ridiculous and annoying, but don't let your hate for them place you on the far end of the other side of the spectrum.
Lara would be Golovkin's best opponent? WTF makes Lara so good? He has 2 losses and 2 draws at JMW FFS. And he almost got KdTFO by Angulo. Couldn't finish off Delvin Rodriguez towards the end of their fight when his corner was imploring him to do so. He is overrated.
Let's see who GGG fights this year. If it's not another MW champ or a decent SMW then sure give Lara a chance. Not sure I'd be as entertained by the fight as much as the aftermath on this forum. But so be it.

Lara wanted a fight with Canelo and did something about it. Why so little effort to get GGG in the ring?...

Or if they wish to continue, they move the topic along on a loosely related tangent. See "Gabe Rosado" above. They do this with complete ignorance and disregard to the historic timeline presenting facts without context.

All that other stuff you said is off topic, I never said GGG is ducking Lara, I can CONCEDE that said statement is incorrect however I believe he can make more of an effort to make the fight.

They will often take points you made and try to flip them (as he did to me).
They try to turn the subject in a direction that makes them "right" about something, even if it wasn't what you were debating (as he did).
They typically want to get in the last word as well.
Once you see a stan flailing, it's best to just leave them alone as they will never relent a point or quit, and it becomes a huge waste of your time.
