True. Angulo looked like **** long before he fought Lara. He was a good fighter but he was always pretty slow and limited.

If Lara ever gets in the ring with Golovkin he's going to running like a gazelle until he gets caught and torn apart by the lion.

In a nutshell GGG wants the big names for the big money he doesn't want the big names that don't come with money.

So he's content to keep fighting these bums.

Honestly i can't think of a more hyped fighter with a worse resume than GGGs.

So, Lara wants the fight but isn't willing to do anything necessary to get it. Is that your pitch to GGG to take a Lara fight?...that other fighters a division apart have fought before? Nothing more? Does Lara bring a belt? Fans? A crowd pleasing style? How does the negotiation go and the fight get made if GGG buys your pitch?

who gives a ****. there is no demand for a GGG-Lara fight. why are ppl still talking about it. both men have more attractive opponents within their respective divisions.

There was no demand for a Wade or Monroe fight either. Why does Lara terrify you guys so much?

And critics like you always come back with lame one line put downs like this when I ask you to dig deeper than the capabilities of your 3rd-grade-level reasoning. Lara's had plenty of time and opportunity to force a GGG fight. He's one of the most overrated fighters in boxing. Go ahead and give me your pitch to GGG to take the Lara fight or even sign the lousy contract Ward offered. I'm listening...

Get a grip. Wade was a mando and made $500k to fight GGG. Monroe made much, much less than that and he actually came to fight not run. Lara's isn't in demand at all and he's getting $1 mil plus to fight the likes of Rodriguez and Zaveck. How much will he want for a GGG fight? How do the financials of this deal work out? What's HBO's incentive having witnessed the performance Lara put on against Canelo? What's GGG getting out of it besides a decent, undersized name on his resume? This is what the adults have think about here.

GGG had a mandatory for that belt and took a step aside fee from Cotto. Curious move from a man that claims to want all of the belts.

He'd prefer to win it in the ring of course. Canelo came with a rep of taking on all comers, said he'd be ready in Sept so he got the benefit of doubt. Turns out he lied and will duck like the rest
