He needs to be stripped if this is the case.

What the hell has happened to Canelo?

Khan then said no, that's BS and that they wanted a lower weight. And now here Canelo admits he wanted to fight Khan for "some kind of belt" lol these clowns
Honest to God, I would assume that the whole crew had been snorting coke with Oscar, except that Canelo is in training.

As we would say in the UK, they are taking the fucking piss now.

But he fights consistently at 155, requesting 156 for Cotto and missing weight against Angulo. The bolded sums it up perfectly

The crazy thing is he was 174 on fight night vs Angulo

i think it doesn't matter if Canelo-Khan does 1 Billion buys.

What matters is doing the right thing and that is to fight at a recognized weight, Not some weight Canelo has in his brain. Just like schizophrenic people have in their heads.

GGG was 171 against Wade, don't lie. Wade was 175.

Don't buy his crap... GGG was not 174.

Gennady Golovkin vs. Dominic Wade — WBA/IBF middleweight title

Wade, a massive underdog, comes out to the late Prince’s 1999. GGG makes his way to the ring to the sounds mariachi music which changes to the White Stripes’ Seven Nation Army.

Wade tipped HBO’s unofficial scales tonight at 175. GGG weighed 171.

174? First I hear of this.

If you were a fan of ESPN's FNFs, USA's TNFs, or any other boxing program that highlighted fringe contenders and up-and-comers. Its very common to see non-title fights contracted a lb or two above the fighters' home division. And that's basically what did with Lara, Angulo, and Kirkland. The only difference with Cotto is that Cotto had a bogus trinket to put on the line. The Khan fight is no different. Canelo considering himself a natural jr middleweight is very logical. Considering he's never fought more than an lb above the limit. Says he can still make the limit comfortably. And has never fought a legitimate opponent above the division.

If Canelo forces the WBC to strip him after fighting Khan his popularity and PPV figures are sure to take a hit in subsequent fights.

He is pissing off his own fan base with this bullshit, not just Golovkin fans.

The post was directed at a gentleman who speaks of the disgust and outrage the public feels towards Canelo. My point is that if people are willing to spend their money to see him, how disgusted are they? If GGG is right and Canelo is wrong. Why are more people willing to pay to see Canelo's wrong doing? That people are willing to pay to see GGG's noble, unification quest?

I do watch lower tier events, unfortunately don't focus on weights as i'm usually too far gone by the time it starts. Looking forward to G.G.'s this year, young kid out of NY making noise.
