This situation is bad enough as it is and it seems Canelo and GBP are more than happy to let it potentially get worse. If you weigh over 154 and underneath 160, you are a middleweight and we all know this, it is pretty fundamental for a fan to understand this. Canelo-weight is BS to get and advantage over people and to make the waters cloudy when a challenge presents itself. There is nothing more and nothing less too it. Shame on them.
This is vastly developing into the kind of thing that no matter what Canelo does for the rest of his career he will always be haunted by the fact nobody was on board with him holding the MW title at a weight he tried to construct.
If he beats Khan then vacates in order to avoid the ruling of the WBC then he deserves no respect and would have to go hell of a long way towards earning any back in my opinion.
