And at no point has GGG competed in the 168 division or held one of its titles.

If GGG had been fighting at 161, beaten Carl Froch and won the title in Ward's absence I would have expected him to defend the title at the limit or vacate it too.

It's ******ed expecting to win and defend a title below the division's limit.

Nobody is stopping him fighting at 155, he just shouldn't be allowed to hold on to the middleweight title if he chooses to. Which even the WBC seem to realise.

There's a huge difference in Canelo's situation and GGG's situation. For one, Gennady has never moved up above his natural weight class of a 160lb to campaign, challenge and win a title at the higher weight class of a 168lb as Andre ward had previously done.

However Canelo did; After he moved up above the 154lb division to challenge and defeat Miguel Cotto for his 160lb WBC Middleweight title; Thereby making Golden Boy's vice president Eric Gomez' argument against Triple G irrelevant.

It's one thing asking for a CW coming up in weight vs a champ. Champs demanding CWs in their own division, much more rare and lamer. And nobody demands a CW vs mando. Nobody demands a lowest CW possible. And nobody demands a CW when outweighing the Challenger fight night. Canelo is a whole another level of CW fraud

GGG fans trying to justify on why his catchweight at 164 is ok but canelos isnt. who gives a **** about the champ. fact is GGG wanted catchweight with ward but wont take canelos even after saying he would fight anyone from 154-168.
