]the terms of Ward's "offer" were widely reported.

If there is a factual error in my recollection, please point it out. Or just admit you are wrong.
(im guessing neither of those things will occur)
They sure were and so was Golovkin's and his teams response which is why I know you're full of sh#t. Abel Sanchez is even on video talking about it but I assume you think you know more about the situation than he does.
Ben Thompson wrote the article...That is all anyone needs to know. Also, the anonymous childhood friend from kazakstan that somehow shows up in oakland at virgil hunter's gym with pics of golovkin from years ago sounds like a national inquirer article.
Lol, maybe it was the infamous lizard boy from years ago 😂
What's the big deal about this story? It could very well be true. Honestly though, pretty weak on journalistic integrity if you ask me. Shouldn't be too hard to fact check this whole thing to get to the bottom of it. The problem is with the source presenting one side of the story and those with heavy interests/bias are now putting a spin on the whole thing. For instance, I could take the same facts and quotes and write a story about how Golovkin would've fought Ward for a ham sandwich but his management kept him from being taken advantage of by advising him against accepting a lousy offer.
Headline of the article should read...GENNADY GOLOVKIN BRAIN TRUST WISELY ADVISED GGG NOT TO ALLOW ANDRE WARD TO SUCKER HIM, SOURCE CLAIMS
For those who disagree, pretend I'm GGG and it's just after I've signed on to fight Lemieux. You're my management and you've just received the email containing the offer to fight Ward from RocN. Pitch it to me and convince me it's a deal I can't pass up. I'm listening...
Mind-boggling they go to all this length to discredit the Kazakhstani champion.
Funny part was there was never any time Ward was ready for the fight. How can you even duck a guy who can't even make up his mind? It's soooo stooopid.
Even a 5 yr old kid can tell these GG detractors are simply ******. They don't even have a case that you can take seriously.
