Ward: "here's an offer, you give up your Canelo mando spot, get stripped of the IBF title, and a year or so from now, after I fight a few tuneups we can fight at 50-50 split, even though I cant sell 10 tickets outside of Oakland. Oh, and thats assuming I dont get injured or in a lawsuit in the meantime. Sound good??" derp derp derp

Hunter's a real good source for this kinda thing. He'd never make up anything negative about GGG.
That picture on his phone is conclusive proof of that guy's close friendship with GGG if you ask me. Looks plenty Kazakh, and there's gotta be like 10 of those guys in the world tops.Comment

There's no weight compromise for a mando defense, ******. Never done before. If Canelo needs a CW all he needs to do is vacate, team GGG said then it's negotiable. As it should be. Keep up, dummyComment

Yawn......come up with some new material. Your embellishments of Ward to defend Golovkin's honor are played out. The only people who believe you are Golovkin's NSB groupies which you are a part of.

the terms of Ward's "offer" were widely reported.
If there is a factual error in my recollection, please point it out. Or just admit you are wrong.
(im guessing neither of those things will occur)Comment

That the offer was made and rejected isn't being questioned. What's being questioned is whether GGG should be criticised for rejecting it.
I would say no, he would have been crazy to accept it. He already had a contract with the WBC to fight for their MW title and had been paying them sanctioning fees for the interim belt since he beat Rubio.
The WBC would probably have torn that contract up if he'd signed another tying him in to building toward a fight with Ward at 168 during the same time frame.Last edited by kafkod; 04-25-2016, 04:40 PM.Comment
You still don't get it. It's okay. I undestand that neanderthal's are a little slow.
