    Maybe I wasn't clear - in the majority of articles I've read, and in the post-fight interview I mentioned, Ward has NOT said that the plan is to fight this year. He's been very careful about not saying anything specific, even though HBO basically mandated that they have to fight in the fall. That's the part that makes me scratch my head - Ward has gone to painstaking degrees of NOT confirming the fight w Kov.
    Oh, I see. Yea, I think he'd be the first to tell you that he avoids discussing the mechanics of things like that. I don't see any reason why he wouldn't or wouldn't want to. It's not like he's every avoided top guys. Even though Andre's camp doesn't talk about this stuff, Duva said;
    “The contract with Ward, they both have to fight again by the end of June.” said Duva when explaining why it would be difficult to set up a stay busy fight for Kovalev in his native Russia. When asked what would happen if Andre doesn’t fight before July, Duva replied: “Then he won’t fight…the next fight will be against Sergey.”
    She's a known liar so I wouldn't blame anyone for calling bullshyt on that but, again, I don't see any they would avoid it. Neither guy has a history of it. I think people are just doing weird fan shyt and attacking via odd conspiracies that never come true.
