How can anyone enjoy UFC more than boxing?

It's got the point where I don't really follow any of the lower divisions anymore save for the most obscure, since I know it's all a money making scam otherwise. Anything from light welterweight up to light heavyweight is a dead zone for me. As a boxing fan I want to see good competitive fights under boxing rules. Not really a huge demand, all things told. I don't want to have to engage in BS politics and marinating to get the fights I want, or engage in pointless ducking debates when both fighters should be happy to prove to the world their worth.

UFC might not be my sport of choice, but it's certainly the one that's making the most of its competitors. For that I will respect it.

I don't care how fuqqed up boxing is. UFC is pathetic. Not to mention they exploit their talent monetarily to an absurd extreme.
I rather watch a UFC fight than a Dog and Pony show Floyd fight

Yeah.. because we need to pay Mayweather $34M to 'fight' Berto.

        While Loma/Walters can't get $2M together.

UFC consistently puts on superior cards, and their fighters get paid good money for what they do.

There's actually hardly any female fights in the UFC since the divisions aren't that stacked and post Ronda losing they were pretty quiet for a while outside of Holm/Meisha.

UFC has the best fighting the best all the time. Look at Boxing, we have to wait years and years for BIG fights. GGG v Canelo has been going on for over a year now, who knows when we'll get it. Kovalev v Stevenson/Ward are we going to see it? Who knows. Wilder v Fury/Joshua? Who knows. Khan v Brook? Who knows. Loma v Rigo? Who knows.

UFC put on McGregor v Aldo, Frankie v Aldo, Cruz v TJ, Jones v Cormier, Weidman v Rockhold, McGregor v RDA (RDA got injured not UFCs fault) was arranged and all of these fights happened or were supposed to happen not too far from each other.

I LOVE Boxing but the politics is ruining the Sport. Too many promoters taking everything out of the sport without putting much back in. Dated methods of promoting fights. Fighters becoming divas because they think they're Floyd Mayweather when it comes to bargaining. Look at Chocolatito, he thinks he can sell tickets in the U.S. Nobody knows him, he is too small, doesn't speak English and isn't like a one punch KO artist.

I'm a fan of DLH because he USUALLY makes the interesting and entertaining fights happen outside of Canelo v GGG which I'm sure will happen sooner or later but even his promotion needs to step up their social media game and tell Canelo to learn English if they want him to become a HUGE star.
Firstly, any form of female combat is disgusting. The fact that a society can on one hand condemn violence against women and then on the other hand pay tens of millions to watch it happen is pathetic.

As for your other points I don't necessarily disagree. However, I find boxing PURELY as a sport to be superior to UFC. In addition, I think that the very chaos, corruption, and inertia that makes the sport annoying at the same time makes it interesting. When a meaningful fight happens in boxing it is unlike any other sport. The "high" you feel watching it can't be matched.

I realize it's hard to remember since the networks don't show them, but you DO know that women's boxing is still a thing...right?

And frankly, I think women's combat sports are often more engaging than the men. They've always got something to prove, so they always put on a good showing. Always. Boxing or MMA.

Paige VanZant, Miesha Tate and Holly Holm have more heart and courage than half the men in MMA.

            Let's see.

Chris Algieri just got knocked out for a payday that, after expenses, nets him less than some .NET developers sitting safely behind a desk.

Yuriorkis Gamboa was forced to sue to get out of a contract so he could fight and earn money.

If that's not exploitation I don't know what is.

UFC doesn't make anywhere near the kind of gate money that boxing does, because while MMA has been around for 16 years, boxing's been around for decades.

I respect both. I think both make mistakes. I understand the approach of boxing more than the approach to MMA.

I feel that UFC is still too young and raw, and frankly, people claim that Dana being in charge of UFC is better than having the multiple promoter situation. I disagree. Having just one org that's properly promoted and put out there is dangerous, for the same reasons WWE is currently struggling to keep ratings up.

True competition is not a bad thing. It makes everyone better. UFC desperately needs a credible alternative.

I wouldn't. I guess I just prefer boxing. Not necessarily a fan of Floyd's style but I can appreciate what he does. Not to mention his character is very interesting.

Do they get paid good money? I don't know. Their fighters increasingly don't seem to think so.

People like you make no sense.

You're okay with guys beating the snot out of each other, but you're not ok with women who willingly fight each other for the same reason?

You sound like Billy Joe Saunders @2:39. Grow up.

I liked MMA when there weren't any weight classes. Then you could really tell which discipline is better. Don't care for it as much as I used to. Even in MMA when the fight is on the ground to long they stand the fighter up. People like knockouts more than submissions.
