A GGG fight with Canelo would be for THREE MW ABC Titles, the lineal MW title, and the Ring Mag MW title.

Why should Canelo get a shot at cleaning up the entire MW division by weakening the best MW in the world. **** Canelo. He needs to man up. Everyone knows he can't make 154 anymore, ask Angulo.

Alvarez, since losing to Floyd, has put himself beyond title belts, simpky pursuing the biggest fights that he can make at the weight where he's most comfortable.

After the Khan fight, Alvarez has Pacquiao, a Cotto rematch, versus Liam Smith (significant Uk fighting interest), and, imo, Gabriel Rosado (Mex/PR always seems to market well, and Rosado being a decent looking guy and able to promote in English would help a ton; 'Creed' appearance wouldn't hurt either) as options at 'Caneloweight'.

Once Canelo can no longer make 155/154lbs. he'll move to the full 160 and target the fights that interest him, heading towards full world titles along the way.

Why? "Boxing is a business", a stance you have always supported. So why would Gennady not take the free money? Hes taking the least amount of risk, for the highest reward. Isn't that what you guys like?

Golovkin's story to the press is that he's all about collecting title belts, yet taking the step-aside money runs directly counter to that stated objective.

Part of why I laughed when Golovkin talked about wanting to gather all of the belts yet creaming himself over the idea of fighting Floyd at whatever weight.

Your wishing it to be so does not make it so. You think that everyone is blind and don't see that Canelo is a heavier man who is pretending to be smaller to avoid his mandatory. You can't fool your fanbase indefinitely...

When you're the A side, you get to make more demands, get your way more often than not. And I'm not saying Canelo gets to go the 155 route forever. I'm just saying, GGG said 154-168, he should man up to that. I'm sure Canelo goes full 160 within a year or two tops. He just doesn't want to do it now. And at least for the time being, right or wrong, that's his choice.

I'm not arguing the pros and cons of Canelo insisting on fighting at 155. And again, you guys never mention it was GGG who mentioned 154-168. All I'm saying is, at least for now, the A side IS Canelo, and he can make the rules. SOME of the weight though needs to fall on GGG for not manning up. HE is the one who started the 154-168 claims. Now he's backed out of that, and expects no repercussions? Biggest point I'm making is, Canelo calls the shots. He's the A side. And GGG at 34 needs to realize that 5 mil payday doesn't come with any other fighter BUT Canelo. Sometimes you have to dance to get what you need.
