No, I'm absolutely not happy that he has to fight Wade. For one, I think Wade sucks. For two, I think IBF has awful mandatories and will cause serious harm to a fighter one day with their crappy rankings.

However, I did not have problems with many of his previous opponents. Lemieux, Murray and Geale were all solid guys and I enjoyed those fights.
Were they my first choice? Absolutely not. I want to see him against Ward and Kovalev. Does that mean I think he should move up right now? Nope, not yet.

World's not fair, and you rarely get what you want. There's little point in complaining about it. We didn't get May/Pac until ~4-5 years too late, same with some Calzaghe fights and some RJJ fights.

Ward was going down to 160 for Mayweather right? then why don't come down to 160 for GGG? why fight at 168? For some reason you expected GGG to go directly to 168 and face Ward, while Ward is having tune ups to face Kovalev.

And about Lara... my god, Lara is a twitter warrior. He would get smashed so badly in a fight with GGG, it's like Khan facing Canelo.

Wake me up when Lara fights a middleweight.
Yes, Froch and CXhavez jr would be, Ramirez I'm not so sure. Ward, however, would be a bigger fight than Lemuix, Stevens and Wade (I know, mando ).

If you can hold Ward to his word on that, then you shouldn't be upset and should understand why someone holds GGG to his words.

HBO signed Ward to a 3 fight deal to have 2 fights before Kov. Blame them for the tuneups, not NSB posters FFS.

Lara is at 154 and GGG's team did say "anyone from 154-168". I don't think Lara beats him but he is a much better test of GGG's skill than some of the guys he fought.

Floyds a woman beating braggadocio...of course there's race involved there too...and he fought most of the names that mattered 5 years too late...

There's your explanation..and what did Floyd have to do with this thread anyway?

don't mind triple GGG, but is canelo really the only option he has to greatness?

i get it canelo is likely ducking, but is that the only guy out there?

it seems he's holding out for a pay check by fighting unknown/lower ranked guys

his trainer contradicts himself way too much, really makes GGG look bad

ggg may be the only guy in boxing who gets crap for unification fights (Lemieux) and fighting his mandatory (Wade).. Guys like Wilder and Brook who fight bum after bum get less hate....

all because some of the folk here think he ducked an offer that got sent the day the Lemueix fight got announced. And the fight was 15-18 months down the line after the other guys got his 2-3 tune ups in lol....

Haters gonna hate....when Saunders, Canelo, and Jacobs are finally ready to fight he has 3 opponents right there to keep him busy...

No, we are not. We want him to face BJS, Jacobs, Lara, etc.

It's funny, no Canelo fans had a problem with Gennady until talks of them fighting happened.

                    Now it's "I hate you Lil G String "

Oh good. You're talking about here, because in the boxing world, that is far from the truth.
