Notice that Bob Arum was smart enough to put his PPV on before the NBA playoffs started. And even then it still seems to have gotten very disappointing numbers.

PBC seem like amateurs when it comes to choosing ideal dates to best showcase their product.

HBO World Championship Boxing once had that brand notoriety that attracted viewers to the programming week in and week out. PBC needs to get to that level because right now Broner, Garcia, Guerrero and Thurman are the only fighters pulling in good network ratings.
The question is can PBC keep paying premium network purses while they're waiting for that to happen.

Brands take years upon years to build. If the investors believe in this product they will stay. If they don't see progress they will abandon.

The good news is I see a lot more commercials in between rounds which means they are recovering some of those costs. The bad news is ratings like this will not keep boxing on TV without time buys.

How the **** is America's funniest home videos still doing good numbers in the era of youtube and Vine? They show videos I saw 3 months ago on Vine. Old people are the ones watching TV.

Major company commercials and foreign rights. The fight was on Boxnation.

Boxing has been around for over 100 years. It's not a new sport. It doesn't need a brand to bring it to the public's attention. Most people just don't care about boxing.

They care. Just fed up from:

                    1. Lack of action
                    2. No structure
                    3. Bad decisions
                    4. Corruption

I go to bars during UFC fights and these are the 4 biggest criticisms I hear about boxing. They love the sport and wish more elite boxers would transition over.

You can't wish good away, you have to compete. There's going to be competition every day of the week.
